... 'm going to a couple of events for my Class of'89 20th reunion; day event picnic for ids and such, evening dinner for the grown-ups. When everybody asks what I've been up to, I'll tell 'em I'm a stand-up comedian.

... explained to Blockade Boy that threads with over 2000 posts messes up the system so threads that reach that level are locked.

...am recovering after a looooong but fruitful Reunion day. The day event was salvaged by a pleasant breeze and a LOT of cute kids. And the evening dinner lasted a bit into this morning, even though it officially ended at midnight. We spent an hour talking in the parking lot because nobody was quite ready to go home. Ooog, I need a nap.

After much internal discussion and perusing of "Entertainment Fort Smith" I visited Miss Laura's, and had a not so light lunch at Doe's Eat Place, where the steaks are priced by the pound (with the smallest steak on the menu being a 1-1/2 lb t-bone).

...have to go to the doctor to finally figure out this ailment / possible onion allergy / possible ulcer I've had for three years. Its become quite painful.
PS - Pov, I have my 10 year HS reunion later this year! But yet, it feels like you're 5 years younger than me sometimes...and I act like I'm 14!

Look like blueberries, taste sort of like grapes, but have fairly large seeds, grow on trees, wild all over the place here. Also called Indian Pears or serviceberries. I don't know that they have anything in particular to do with Saskatoon. That reminds me, I should pick more today. They're good in muffins and pancakes; the cooking softens the seed.
