Which era of the LSH does your LMBP chatacter fit into?
Yellow Kid is definitely Silver Age. In fact it's entirely possible that YK is one of the mystery Legionnaires in the background in those panels in Superboy 247.
What about it?
Adventure Era? Cockrum? Grell? Legion On the Run? 5YG? Post Boot?

Obviously Cockrum, but I'd have loved to be Adventure Era.

DnA era here, introduced in Legion Lost #1, and just waiting to be wiped out of existence.

I've always seen myself as Grell into Levitz/Giffen era. Maybe more Levitz/Giffen, real close to Garth's nervous breakdown.

Born from Cockrum, but really hit his stride during Levitz/Giffen.

Sketch Lad was rejected in the Adventure Era, but gained entrance during the Grell era. Had greatest moments during Levitz/Giffen. Became way obscure during TMK. Rebooted as full fledged member, smack dab in the middle of the roster.

Primarily postboot, though like Nighty I'd love to be retconned in as a late Adventure, early Grell days member.

With "my" being over a decade younger than my sister, my taking up anything with or near the "real" Legion would have to be considerably into the Volume 4 era ... but, to me, on a timeline a few years after the non-occurrence of Zero Hour. And where much of the TMK-and-later carnage never happened. (Sis gets her wings back, Blok is thriving and married, the Moon is still there, and hope hasn't been eradicated.) I described these and some other details of what-oughta-be as part of a brief interview that "I" gave to Marella Tao a few years ago. Fie on reboots. We should have still had the original Legion universe, much changed and less trashed, with their being youthful into their presumed 40s or older. An age where aging has largely been conquered, or at least slowed down considerably. (They made that point in Volume 2, so why didn't they stick with it?)

Not entirely certain, but I'd go for 5YL era. I'd be comfortable in the general mayhem and confusion of that era.

I gotta say the Levits/Giffen era too.
The first issue I bought was LSH#294. Any cover with Darkseid on it gets my attention.
After that I started buying back issues and yeah, the Grell era was definatly awesome.
I do actually like the newer stuff but it seems to be aimed at a younger fan audience (kinda like Marvel's Ultimate series' which is a helluva breath of fresh air to me).
Go conquer the universe for me...for the god whose image you have carved your own homeworld as a monument.Go... for your master... For Darkseid!

What about Lashie? That outfit with the bell bottoms definitely says "Cockrum" but the other outfit with all the skin just screams "Grell".
I always pictured Greybird as coming along with the short lived Jim Sherman stint on the LSH or maybe even Greg LaRoque when the characters started diversifying into having their own attitudes and personalities.
Sorry you were ignored during TMK, Sketch. At least that gave you a little free time to work on all those wonderful sketches. I was busy running a supervillian outfit at the time(anti-Earthgov, naturally) so I didn't see any panel time either.

Adventure Era? Cockrum? Grell? Legion On the Run? 5YG? Post Boot? Adventure Era, but I guess there's some 5YG and L* in me, too.

[Yellow Kid] {[...] I always pictured Greybird as coming along with the short lived Jim Sherman stint on the LSH or maybe even Greg LaRocque when the characters started diversifying into having their own attitudes and personalities. }
Well, that's when I would have preferred to be in or near the Legion stories, as Sherman-to-LaRocque is roughly my own favorite era.
If I were to be portrayed consistently as one of Dawny's younger brothers, though, it'd have to be that later period, if the familial relationship were to make much sense.
I'll gladly take being written into or depicted for any story, though, fanfic or not, fanart or not. What I'd relish is being a Starhavenite, period.
