That was fun. We ought to see if we can all score some DC or Legion-relaunch 'swag' at Wizard World Dallas and play games like this a lot more.

YAY!
You see... I figured two things:
1) The list thus far was thrust too far towards the obscure side. There weren't any "classic" Legionnaires on it. The remaining answer was probably one of them.
2) The "distinct names = distinct characters" rule hadn't really come into play yet, unless it was simply meant to prevent the Dawnstar = Shikari argument from coming into play. There was a good chance it was someone whose codename had changed, then.
Thanks so much, Gail!

Congrats, guys! (Eryk, I was using the same reasoning as you when I guessed Valor. Oh well)

I said "was". Seriously, I thought it would have really clever if the initial taking of "Triplicate Girl" and "Triad" out of the running was just a way of diverting attention from the fact that she'd actually had a completely different code name throughout most her existence!

I just winged it. Seriously, they were the first three codenames that came into my head upon reading that Mark Waid was involved.

As it stands the winners of this little shindig were: MLlash Pex Minesurfer (that's me. Hi) Outdoor Miner (not to be confused with Minesurfer) Eryk Davis Ester and both Scott were promised comics as well for hosting such a groovy message board. I haven't received my comics yet and I know a few other winners haven't either. I just wanted to inquire if anybody had received their prize yet? I've PM'd Gail through this board about a month ago and I emailed her through her board at Comic Book Resources last week. I haven't heard anything back from her. Before I go starting a thread over at her board, I'd like to try back channels first. Does anybody have a way of contacting Gail so that it doesn't seem like we're calling her out publicly or trying to be pushy? Since she hasn't been here in awhile, I thought bumping this thread wouldn't be too harsh.
