Olivier is providing the variant cover for the first issue of Gaiman's Eternals (according to Newsarama ). I believe this is the first time Olivier has done a variant and I think this is his first work since HoM. Marvel is still being mum about his next project. OLIVIER COIPEL ETERNALS #1 COVER

Sersi looks good, although how her boobs keep from falling out must be an Ancient Eternal Secret. Not so sure about Ikarus (Icarus? Ike Harris), though. His head seems a little small for his body. Not planning to pick this up... never really been a huge fan of the Eternals, but it's nice to see Olivier working
Some people are like slinkys: not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you knock them down a flight of stairs

Ollie's most recent work is New Avengers Annual #1.
He's done variants on New Avengers and Ultimate X-Men and a few others too.

[ he's based in BRAZIL now ] and he always says he's gonna send me some artwork etc .... but he's still to send it to me !! and i don't like to pester, so i guess, i just have to sit tight and wait ...... I love the cover piece and while I'm on the fence about JR's work (for the most part) the preview pages really seems to evoke Kirby. This could be really good.

i always had the impression that coipel was gay, no? i've always enjoyed his work even his "scratchy" legion of the damned debut. he's a very dynamic storyteller.

Olivier made the Legion look supercool - still think his is the best Wildfire ever. Scott, he did do a pretty cool variant cover for Ultimate X-Men 61 - love the Frainch reference - 'Sorbonne' sweatshirt for Angel... http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-b...size&issue=90745529339%2061%20COIPEL
