I don't think those two were ever in the same Legion series, let alone issue. Which leads to the question...why didn't Tellus wear his blinging gold-plated methane helmet Tyroc gave him? Torrid affair, I'd say.

Ferro Lad and Chemical King also didn't seem to have the time to find romance before their deaths! Of course, we can always interpret Condo's story with Lyle from Secret Origins #47 (I believe) a bit different than intended.

You also have the intended hooking up of the postboot Condo with the postboot Lyle, as well as various crushes in the case of the postboot Ferro.

I think Tyroc is the earliest-introduced Legion member who has never been romantically attached in any incarnation (at least partially because he hasn't appeared in the postboot).

Good memory on postboot Ferro, EDE. In any boot, I don't recall Polar Boy having an interest in anyone either.

Thinking back to the Legionnaires, preboot, I'm surprised how some of them never seemed to find love or have any crushes until five years later in the TMK run! Invisible Kid II and Matter-Eater Lad come to mind as examples, unless I'm missing a Tenzil crush from the Adventure days.

I'd like to see an explicitly asexual Legionnaire, who doesn't care nor want love. I know Gear could and probably will fit this mold the best, but perhaps postboot Karate Kid feels the same way for now as he concentrates on honing his martial arts? Perhaps Gates has an asexual stance until he can go back to Vyrga and find a female of his species he relates to as well.

Tenzil had a crush on Shrinking Violet as seen in that story which introduced Tenzil's dead-beat family. The kissed shared between Vi and Tenz was probably the first kiss in an legion story ever.

Maybe I'm misremembering this but wasn't it implied that Gear had a crush on Kid Q? I suppose we had an asexual legionnaire in Quislet.

And you're right, Polar Boy never did have a love interest!

i would've loved how it would turned out if thunder had returned and any of the creative teams had given her a romantic intrest.

Evillo's daughters Styx & Stiletta seemed awfully crazy about Polar Boy, but I think his interest in them was purely professional.

Not so! There was plenty of kissing going on back in Adventure days. Star Boy and Phantom Girl in Adv. 326, Garth and Imra, Jo and Tinya in Adv. 337, Ayla and Cham in Adv. 342, Kara and Brainy and DD and Superboy in Adv. 350, Val and Projectra in Adv. 362. Probably some others that I'm forgetting too.

Wasn't Brek in love with Lydda? I know he was shown to be in the post-boot issue (L* #43?) where he and Lydda were introduced.

Brek was certainly shown as attracted to Lydda in the postboot issue. I can't remember if there was anything about that preboot...

Gates; Tyroc; Tellus; Quislet; Celeste Rockfish; Kono; White Witch (Blok liked her, but i don't think she ever thought of him as more than a friend.); Gear? ( I too thought he was hitting on Kid Q. in Legion #2, and i liked that pairing more than Jaz and Rokk)

Oh yeah, and female Inferno. we don't even know if she was gay or straight!

White Witch got married to Mordru so I suppose she's out.

James Cullen (Kid Quantum) barely had time to make eye contact much less have any romantic interests.

#326 also had Element Lad kissing Light Lass and Invisible Kid kissing Triplicate Girl. Legion history would have been a lot different if writers had run with *those* relationships.

The Superman-Saturn Woman kiss was pretty early on. "Adult" Legion, indeed!

I seem to remember Computo (Danielle) having a major crush on Tyroc right before Zero Hour.

What about Kent Shakespeare? I don't remember him ever expressing attraction towards anyone.
