Ok, here is yet another trivia thread. I think the more specific trivia categories work better, so here is a trivia thread dedicated to the the foursome that started the Marvel Age of comics.
Off we go...
Name the 3 females who betrayed the Frightful Four.

Nope, she was just pretending to join so she could free the the Fantastic Four. I actually thought this question would take longer. Your question, CMK.

I was a dedicated FF fan in the 80's. Then Marvel started sucking, and I discovered DC...specifically, the TMK Legion.
What powerful Marvel U entity was the Molecule Man part of, and who was the other part?

Hmmm...I don't know this one, so I'll guess the Cosmic Cube? Was the Shaper the other part?

It was a cosmic cube, so I'll give you the next question.
The other part was the Beyonder.

The Beyonder woulda been my next guess. OK, here we go...
The negative zone figured into many FF stories. However, there was something else that was called a "negative zone" well before it became a doorway to another world. What was the first "negative zone" used for?

Forcefield around Attlan. Stan Lee got confused between that and what was originally called "subspace", so Annihilus' realm is now and forever the Negative Zone.
[The adaptation for the animated series, as a result, would call it a "Negative Barrier" instead]

Yup. Maximus surrounded the Inhumans' city with a "negative zone," with nary an Annihilus or Blastaar to be seen. You're up, Reboot.

No.
Clue: The villain debuted in F4. And the similarity of name is NOT a coincidence.

Not quite, unless I missed that as a retcon somewhere in the 40 years or so since.
Some hints:
As you can tell by above, it happened in the Silver Age.
A specific villain or villains was responsible.

Well, I think that's close enough The Frightful Four set off a Q-bomb (or something like that) on the island where they were fighting the FF in #38, which led to them losing their powers...just in time for the absolute BEST cover in Marvel History, FF #39, where Dr. Doom battles a powerless FF. Great story! You're up Jorg!

Immediately prior to the Thing's team-ups had their own title (Marvel Two-in-One), Thing team-ups appeared in two issues of a different title. (In fact, Marvel Two-In-One # 1 was a story continued from these two.) Can you name the title and which two heroes Ben teamed with?

Ok, I think I know this but I have to think it out.
Marvel Feature is the title.
Iron Man is one of the team-ups. I'm a huge Marvel 2-in-1, Thing, and Titan Eternals fan. I know this issue involved the Blood Brothers.
The other hero he teamed up with? Ouch. Well in M 2-in-1 I think he teams up with Man-Thing. So that's my #2 guess. If not MT than I say the Hulk?

I'm 98% sure I'm right with the above answer, but just to be sure, I won't post a question. But I am leaving for Key West in mere hours, so even if I posted a question, I wouldn't be able to answer it for over a week, so in the case that I *am* right, I would like Reboot to post a question for me (Hope you don't mind 'Boot)! Just to keep this thread going.

ANYway.... something fairly easy... Who is the only character outside the Four themselves to appear in all three Fantastic Four #1s?

Like I said, fairly easy HR-Mole Man was the cliffhanger in v2 #1, and Moley getting the news of the F4's Return was the intro piece in v3 #1. And, obviously, he was the main villain in v1 #1. Away you go CMK

Now I suddenly can't think of the planet or race But is it the "Infant Terrible" from Fantastic Four #20 (or so), later to be called the "Adolescent" or something, recently appearing in Annhilation? I believe Jack got this idea from a B-movie.

Anyways, but like Infant Terrible this being will grow big...and is rare.

Ok, more clues...it was an infant of a powerful and rare alien race associated with the FF.

While we're waiting, I have a question that I'll just post here. I know FF has gone back to the original numbering, but do any FF fanatics know what the last issue was before the second number 1? how long until they started with a new number 1? How many issues has each version run, and when did the original numbering come back?
Thanks!

Which villain tried to attack the Baxter Building when the FF were absent, and was beaten back by the automated security systems?

Now I have to think of a FF trivia question.
This is probably easy.
What was the unofficial name of the first Fantasicar?

(Lance, Captain Ultra has appeared a few other times. Always a joke character. I know he appeared in a Marvel Comics Presents story. Tried out to be a Defender. Got counciling from Doc Samson who I think cured him of his pyrophobia. I think. He might have appeared in the Initiative series in the background.)

Y'know, somehow that seems more of a West Coast Avengers question than an F4 one Okay, Fantastic Four v3 #9 contains an explicit dialogue and INTENDED art reference to a well-known television show. In what way did the artist completely screw this up?

Y'know, somehow that seems more of a West Coast Avengers question than an F4 one It was depicted in The Thing # 22 and Fantastic Four (v1) # 277, so its status as FF trivia is solid.

Ok, Reboot, I got sick of this question hanging around and I looked it up. I am assuming you are talking about the telephone booth which is from Dr. Who. I never really got into Dr. Who, though, so I have no idea how the artist messed it up.

Ah, forgot about this. What happened was that Salvador Larroca was meant to draw a blue police box (i.e., Tardis), but instead drew an old-style red (public) telephone box. [He would later make a similar-but-funnier mistake in X-Treme X-Men, misinterpreting "nightdress" as "evening gown". Apparently, Rogue likes to sleep dressed for the ball ] You can have the next question anyway

Hmm....leave it to me to kill a thread I started. It is so much more fun to kill other people's threads, so I'll change the question. When the Fantastic Four pierced the "time bubble" to find the weapon the celestial supposedly had made, which 2 Avengers went along, and what was the name of the "time sled?"
This all occurred during Simonson's run, by the way.

Hmm...well, that would fix the question I had, wouldn't it?
Reed & Sue's wedding was attended by almost all of Marvel's heroes and villains at the time. Quicksilver, then an Avenger, outraces a super-speedy villain. Who was that villain, and by what name is he now better known?

I'm a geek up till the Englehart era, after that, I lost interest. I picked up the 30th anniversary issue out of nostalgia, saw they couldn't come up with anything more original than reprising the Legion's Yera-Violet-Colossal Boy plot (at the same time erasing any character evolution Byrne set in motion), and hardly looked at an issue since.
I did read the Waid issues in trade format borrowed from the library, though. He really had a great handle on the characters, and on Doom. But that's pretty much Waid with anything he touches.
OK, enough about me...trivia time. Which member of the FF was not exposed to a Skrull aging ray?

What powers does the super-skrull have that are posessed by none of the FF?

There is actually one other power, CMK. I figured shape-changing would be easy, but there is also a seldom-used power which the original super-skrull had which is not possessed by any FF member. I'll give the next question to whomever guesses it.

Okay, simple one - name the F4's second HQ that had "Four" (or "4", in case of pedantry!) in the name.

Ah. I can see how you thought that, but there would have been at least a comma after "HQ" if it was intended as a simple hint.
[Technically, 4FP wouldn't even have been their second overall. Their first was in Central City, after all!]
