Isn't this old news? I'm personally amazed the title has hung on this long. I feel sorry for the very loyal fans who have kept it going, but I think they should be happy that they probably got an easy 80 issues more than they could have ever hoped for.
Long Live the Legion!

It's cancelled with #30, and I believe #29 just came out. The character will be appearing in future issues of Amazing Spider-Man Family.

Even that's in jeopardy, apparently- CBR had an article, Marvel + DeFalco= Finished? about Tom D supposedly quitting Marvel, and Mayday's his baby.

The title's a click-through puller. All he says is that he doesn't see Marvel offering him anything else. http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=20032 The industry veteran tells CBR News that Marvel editors have stopped calling. In fact, as will be elaborated upon in next week’s REFLECTIONS, DeFalco goes so far as to say his “Amazing Spider-Man Family” gig is “an assignment which could be my last for Marvel.” [...] DeFalco said there are several reasons why his relationship with Marvel may be ending, chief among them being the simple fact that he’s getting little to no other work from the company. “The bad news about working on the same thing for that many years is that editors start to believe that it is the only thing you can do,” DeFalco told CBR. “So the only way I can get non-Spider-related work is to work for other companies.” [Although, with that said, ASMF sells worse than ASG. A lot worse.]

The name 'Amazing Spider-Man Family' just isn't appealing to me. I love a good family as much as the next guy, but just not Spider-Man's and Superman's in the name of a comic book title.

If anything, these "Family" books should feature stories about previously unknown cousins, aunts and uncles.

I dunno...I loved Superman Family and Batman Family back in the day. If done properly with decent creators, I'm sure Spidey Family could potentially rock! Imagine Prowler, Molten Man, Daily Bugle and Rocket Racer stories along with Spider-Girl, etc. and it could really rock if they wanted, too.
Not as pure, I know, as having Batgirl and Robin stories or Supergirl, Krypto, etc. stories in those "Family" titles, but it could work in the Spiderverse. Yeah, it'll never happen like that or be incredibly poorly done if it were, but the concept is potentially way cool!
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

It should be pointed out that the only new thing here is that the stories already announced for Amazing Spider-Man Family will be appearing on Marvel's site [behind a paywall, using their horrendous interface] two weeks before they're printed.
And isn't that image in the link exactly the pose Pat Oliffe, back when he was the Spider-Girl artist, went to pains to avoid?
