We miss you too, SLK.

Star hit 19 tonight, Tinya hit 12, and Beauty
hit 21, so we're making progress. If it can be
done without getting Beauty and Princess too
high for the TF, I'd like to work on Star some
more and get him up to 20 this weekend.

Vee, did you find out what level Lar was?

No I haven't run across Lar since the last time we all got together. I'll keep looking for him but it sounds like we won't be doing the TF this weekend anyway.

Logged EAP in last night for an hour (it had been exactly one week since I last played) and managed to clear up all his debt, 3k, and get his last two bubbles for 16. I took Dark Regeneration and it seemed to work pretty good.

If you guys ever decided to log into Victory, let me know. Edgar is still an SG of one. frown

Y'know, I logged in last night with Kamisori on Victory but he's got mostly hunting missions and I got bored playing him, quickly. I've also got the 4th of July Kid and Mister Midnight on the server, tho all of 'em will need to be Sk'ed.

Has EAP done Posi, yet? Kam is in the right range, if there's a third to be found.

EAP hasn't even teamed up except for the time he was created and I started having the connection issues. He's basically soloed his whole life. I even still have the Jewel of Herra mission (the Spelunker badge) to do. I wanted to save it until we had a full team who needed the badge. I guess I could just auction it off to the highest bidder. laugh

But I would be interested in doing the Positron TF if we could get at least a third. I considered, at one time, of getting two people just to team with me so I could get the TF then have them drop. Just to see if I could solo it.

I know how you feel about EAP, Scott. I got
Bluette up to 20, but even though I really
like the character I don't have anyone to
play her with on a regular basis on Triumph.

Has Bluette gotten her cape, yet? I know I offered Shadow Yamamura's help in that...

Subterfuge Kid just got Air Superiority... that power rocks for a scrapper.

Grev's gonna be on Virtue for the next hour and a half or so, if anyone wants to join me (or move to Infinity).

I knocked out six more bubbles last night in only a couple hours of soloing, so I only have four to go for 17. I swear the xp is coming easier than it has for any of my blasters.

At one point I joined a group who wanted to do Positron but they didn't want to listen to reason. Had to have a max of 8 on the team. After dying the second time because of level 17 Eids and earning nothing in XP (maybe 100 at most) I quit. It wasn't worth it.

Blue is within one bubble of hitting 35.

At 36, I can do the Eden Trial with him and
I'm kinda jazzed about doing that...

Okay, guys.

I hit 35 with Blue and I ran through every
power in his secondary on the training server
to see which if any were worth having. Vee,
you're the only one I know here who uses a
fire blaster in her 20s yet, so you might
want to take a look at this.

Here are the powers that I consider worth
having from the secondary set: fire circle,
fire sword, fire sword melee, buildup, and
consume. The others are really prety much
superfluous or will be when Issue 3 goes
live.

Blazing aura is just like one of the fire
tanker's shields ...the one that does damage
but provides sucky protection. Combustion
does basically the same thing as fire sword
circle, but I think FSC gets more style points.
Burn used to be an ace power-- and it was one I
was shooting for as it helps you against holds,
but effective with Issue 3 they're gutting it's
effectiveness to the point where it's no longer
worth taking as a power IMO.

As for Andrew... I sent Scott a long e-mail
about what's going to happen to him now that
they're nerfing invulnerability-- pray to
whatever Belief, Idea, or Entity you might
happen to believe in that the devs NEVER
say they want to help your AT because they
nerf the hell out of them every time.

I tell you, guys, I'm still in the Legion
games for the fun and the comraderie, but
I would advise you to not invest any kind
of emotional attachment to your alts because
as soon as they start to be effective the
devs are going to nerf them.

It reminds me of a story that Harlan Ellison
wrote ... Harrison Bergon (sp?) I think it was
called. To provide balance to everyone, the
powers that be put weights on strong and
graceful people to hinder their movements ...
if you had keen vision, they put blinders on
you ... all to make everyone EQUAL.

Someone should really send States a copy of
that story ...
frown

And you know what? I may just try that Marvel
game if it ever comes out. Who knows? Maybe
it'll be easier to be a super hero there...
so long as they don't hire Cryptic to make
it ...

Got EAP up to 17. He's really moving along for a solo artist. Especially since I'm only playing about 3-5 hours a week at most lately.

But after the update I don't know about keeping up with the game. Just seems to be too many changes, none for the good, going on. I'll try it out but may end up just switching over to playing XBox Live and whatever games are available there.

Lyle,

What's the level limit for that? Bluette is a
level 20 and Star Kallor is a level 19. I can't
remember if I got Andrew over there before he hit
22 or not...

It's a regular mish and for the most part normal mission level rules would apply but I started the story arch before starting Synapse which messed up the mission levels.... they're all turning up set at level 19.

Then again, since we're not doing this mish for real we could cheat just to see the new dungeon and bring in high level characters...

Meanwhile, Prism has that mission ready if the Legion wants to take care of it. No bonus for taking out Dr V, 'cept for the experience of defeating him.

I think both Condo & Mysa are lvl 21 on the test server so I could use either. Just about any night this week (except MAYBE Tuesday) would work for me.
