Okay, so most of you probably hated Daredevil. I kinda enjoyed it. It was a hell of a lot better than the Hulk.
Anyway, I just watched the latest trailer for Elektra and Jennifer Garner is still hot. Typhoid Mary, one of the film's villains, looks done well. But I have a question about a man who has his body tattooed with different animal images. Images that seem to be able to seperate from his body. Anyone have a clue as to who he is?

I also enjoyed the "Daredevil" movie - it wasn't great, but certainly good fun, I thought (I actually liked it more the second time I caught it on cable). Colin Farell's overacting bothered me a bit (it screamed "I'm in a comic book movie"), but still...
The movie looks like it can go either way. I'll wait for the reviews and try to see more footage before deciding to see it. Honestly, Garner still seems miscast to me - she looks too all-american, girl next door. Seeing the "Blade" trailer made me think Jessica Beil may have made a better Elektra - her looks are slightly more exotic and she looks dangerous.

This IS a prequel, isn't it? No cheesy resurrection, I hope?
I plan to catch this one in the cinema, though it's unlikely to have any moments of sheer visual poetry comparable to Affleck "reading" Garner's face from the sounds of the raindrops falling upon it.
That's likely to stay in my memory for decades, a gem among fool's gold of overbaked heroics. Though Affleck is better in a mask than in a turkey such as "Pearl Harbor." Garner was and should be superb, athletic and sinuous, even if she's not at all Greek-exotic.

Well, I can't speak to the "cheesiness" of it, but I've read that they do deal with her "death" in Daredevil (so no, it's not a prequel). I wouldn't be surprised if this movie "fills the gap" between her rooftop battle with Bullseye and when she leaves the necklace for Matt (it'd be nice if they included that somehow - Affleck does have a cameo after all...)

Yeah, funnily enough, i thought it was a pretty good movie too. Stuck a little too much to the early batman formula...big party where everyone dresses up, etc...but still a solid movie.
I liked Hulk as well. Well, except for Bana. He kinda stunk. But the rest was pretty good.
haven't seen the preview for Electra, but she did look a lot more...um...zoftig in Catch me if you Can as the hooker. I didn't even recognize her until i read the credits.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!

I have two thoughts on "The Hulk": -- CGI for the army battles was great, but sucked with Hulks' organic foes (the dogs and Absorbing Man) -- the heavy dramatic story needed Rick Jones for some levity.

Chalk me up as another fan of the Daredevil movie. At the end of it, I knew that above all I was entertained, and it succeeded on that level for me. I'm looking forward to the Elektra movie too, although I think the best bet they can have it stick as close to Frank Miller's vision as possible. Garner is fun to watch, so her continuing as Elektra is a plus.

Same here... I like(d) the Daredevil movie. Affleck is a little stiff in the fighting scenes and looks choreographed. Unlike Garner who is very good at all the fighting and physical "stuff". I like Hulk too... a little slow in parts and the cgi dogs were bad, but military scenes are great... and alot like Sky Captain it ended on a high point.
As for Elektra... There's nothing wrong with watching Garner in tight, red, skimpy leather. I'll probably wait for a matinee or rental though. I just don't know what to make of it yet.

When I saw the trailer I thought wow..the Tatooed Man..but he is a DC villian isnt he?
I think this movie is gonna rock..I liked Daredevil as well..Collin Farrel (sp) was a great Bullseye.
Looking for Earth Prime.
