Where's everybody been today?!?! I had to go and create a brand new character again on Virtue because I got bored. Soon you all will meet Blok, a stone/stone Natural Tanker. While running around, I met someone who recognized the costume and wanted to know more about our group. I told her (him? you never know with these games) about our group but she was just signing off. So if you run into a Lady Mar-Vell on Virtue, let her know who you are. She really seemed interested in joining.

Are you still on? I've been bouncing around looking for everyone.

I joined a mish for the XP and got my sixth
bubble, but I died on my way back. The Pumice
hit me with one rock and I died.. 8-(

I'm on Infinity working on my newest creation, the Adventure era "Rond" a mind controller with empathy. If you log back on tell me.

Three of us were on today but we never bumped into each other? Ok, so Andrew was on when I was but I was in the middle of a mission.

Not a whole lot of progress today, except that I met that Legion fan again. This time they made a new Legion character named ERG-ONE. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to meet him face-to-face. They did ask about joining our supergroup, but I was using Blok who isn't even part of the SG yet. Anyway, we chatted briefly about the Legion then I pointed him here, so hopefully we may have someone else to team with on slow days like today!

Believe it or not, the stone powers really didn't seem to fit Blok so I deleted him and changed him to Invulnerabilty/Super Strength. Isn't that exactly what Andrew Nolan is? I didn't think of that until several levels in.

Blok, of course, will not be able to fly since he is too heavy. He will be my first character to have to learn to use super jump! I'm so excited.

Porcupine Pete made some progress. Silver Slasher hasn't been touched in a long time. I may have to polish her up a bit soon. Brek Bannin just collected some more debt. Ah yes, another Saturday down the drain. Herocrack indeed.

Sorry, Vee. I didn't get your message at the right time apparently. I did log Brek on Infinity a couple of times, but there was no one there when I was. Guess I need to be a little more patient.

Vee and I did manage to hook up last night for
a little while. I got Star to within one bubble
of hitting 13-- so close to flight I can taste
it!-- but, yeah. We didn't have a lot of luck
working together last night, did we?

Hey Battler, is Andrew Nolan a Inv/SS char? If he is I want to know how you do it. This has got to be one of the slowest ways to solo someone. My empathy healer w/ two attack powers can level faster than this!

I'm going to stick with it, one, because it makes the game a challenge and I have to use a bit more strategy than usual, and two, because Blok looks so cool in this game!

Yes. Andrew is Inv/SS. And yeah, it's harder than
heck to level 'em. 8-)

I think I'd recommend you do mostly door mishs
as opposed to street hunting. Andrew doesn't
have it yet, but I'd recommend you pick up
taunt as Inv/SS have no way to lock the baddies
down the way that some tanks do...

I'm heading out to run some errands, but
I'll be back later. Anyone want to run some
characters tonight?

I got up a little early (well 9 am is early for me on a Sunday, my one day of rest a week) and played Snake for awhile. Managed to have him die 3 times, his first time dying, and got almost 1k in debt. I guess its not so bad not having a death until you are 11 but the debt sucks. Plus I don't think he's ready to solo in Steel.

I did follow Blue's advice and replaced the damage in my Beanbag with another disorient. Works much better now.

Then I soloed Lightning Ranzz for a bit. Got him from a 5 to a 7 and four bubbles. But his endurance sucks. I can get maybe two times through his powers before he's exhausted.

So now I'm at work, systems went screwy and I had to come in. That's it for me for the day. But I'm sure Caroline will be on for awhile now.

Hey, SLK & I hooked up for a while and had fun with Pete & Condo, until we both died multiple times

Then I had Rokk induct SLK's newest chars, Blok & Radiation Roy into the Legion. Both look awesome! I tried to take a pic of each so now I have to see if I can post them.

Guys, I don't know if I'll be able to play any
more Herocrack tonight or for a while. I bought
new ram to use in my PC, but my PC wouldn't even start with it installed. I replaced it with the old and got it running again, but when I tried
to post something here, I lost the signal to my
monitor. Fortunately I had a spare and that one
seems to be working ATM, but I don't know if
that means the cable on my old monitor is now
screwed up or what. The monitor itself is giving
me a check signal cable so the monitor itself
isn't the problem.

I'm going to do a little trouble shooting. If
I don't log back onto herocrack tonight, you'll
know why.

Stuff like this is totally why I buy that
the "Independence Day" scenario of Jeff
Goldblume being able to upload a virus to
the alien's computer system and have it come
crashing down.

I hooked my PC back up to my main monitor and
it worked fine. Then I turned it off and
replaced the old ram with my new ram and turned
it back on.

Still worked....

Exact same thing I did the first time with a
completely different result. Scott old buddy,
I don't know how you manage to avoid tearing
your hair out over this sort of thing ...

I gotta work out for a bit, Vee ... will give
a herorcrack a spin in an hour or so ... if my
PC cooperates with me.

Sheesh. Time for that Alienware machine of my
dreams I think ...

Vee, SLK and I are on Pinnacle. I'm going to run
Al Pratt and he's going to make a Johnny Thunder.

crashed on me, and when I try to log on the
updater keeps running and crashing too... so
I don't know when/if I'll be back on. Sorry...
