Anyone watch it this weekend, because time is tissue.

I watched it here in Austin at the Alamo Drafthouse. They bought in two guys that were snake wranglers to give us a little lesson on snakes. One snake guy then took five snakes, tail end in his mouth and spun around a couple of times. Then someone asked if he ever saw a snake in his pants. He actually had a story for that too.

Good movie, but its better watch it in a theatre then by yourself. More of an interactive experience that will make the movie more enjoyable.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY has been pushing this film like nobody's business... I think it's cute that it attracted so much interest sight unseen, based solely on it's title and premise. And Samuel L. Jackson's now-famous line about motherhuggin' snakes on a plane.

The commercials I've seen for it make it look pretty damned scary.

You gotta hand it to the creators/writers-- you take 2 of the things people have the biggest phobias for and put 'em together... *shudder*

I'm glad this movie was made laugh

I'm even more amused that not everyone I've talked to gets why laugh

Considering all of the promotion and build up, the movie had a fairly lackluster opening weekend ($15 million). It's not a movie I'm planning to see any time soon, only because I hate snakes. I'm sure I'll end up watching it eventually on DVD.

I expected the theatre to have more people in it...

Keanan Thompson made my day.

Matthew, are you taking Paul to it? I'm just thinking that if he sees snakes on planes, he might never want to try flying again!!!

Just as a side note, SOaP is becoming the most mentioned thing in general chat on World of Warcraft. Used to be people stirred up the chat by mentioning Chuck Norris, and now it's Sam Jackson or quoting from the movie and such. It's a riot. I love laughing at the sillyness going on behind the scenes in that game.
