Actually owning the soundtrack sweet transvestite is still in there although for some reason Mercedes in the Frankenfuter role so the sensational change is a bit odd. Many of the other songs seem little if not at all changed. While some of the roles are a given, some of the choices are a bit baffling. I figured if anyone was going to be FrankenFuter it would be Kurt but his actor wanted to be Riff-Raff so they made him so from my understanding.

Riff Raff gets to sing a big chunk of TIME WARP, so I can't blame him for that!
I've got the soundtrack too, and I think Mercedes tanked on SWEET TRANSVESTITE.
Still looking forward to the episode though.

If they weren't going to go with a guy I think Jane Lynch would have made a pretty hilarious Frank. There's that problem with her not being able to sing though...

Jane Lynch can sing. She would have been good in the role, but I don't think Sue would believably participate.
Having Kurt play Frank N Furter would have been too obvious. Puck might have been interesting, but if it's one of the girls, Mercedes is as good a choice as any.

^ Jane Lynch can sing? I guess I don't watch the show enough. Never saw it in any or the episodes I watched or in any previews.
Puck probably would have been the best choice for Frank. Or John Stamos. I heard somewhere that he was cast for that role in the episode but network executives nixed the idea so they had to re-write it. Don't quote me on that though. Could just be Message Board scuttlebut.

I saw a Time Warp clip today. I'm still not happy with the "cleaning up" of Rocky Horror - but I have to admit that Kurt is an excellent Riff Raff.
