I've now a seen a picture of "human" Brainiac 5 from the end of this (though not the episode itself)... and I'm wondering if anyone else sees an especially strong resemblance to late-postboot B5? It's almost just missing the cheek-plates.

I waited fifty years to see the LSH in their own TV series and it ends after two! Still, it was a far better effort than I had originally believed possible and am still hopeful they will return in some form someday.
Kudos to all involved!

i think they had to go with that look, it was the only one with the brainiac three circles on his head, god for bid the kids that wacth the show put two and two together and would forget who brainiac 5 is now that he's not a robot any more

personally, i liked that look the early reboot brainy's look really never did any thing for me, once he got the implants? a hair cut, and shorter sleeves. i think he looked more like a younger legionnaire.

I was also choked up at the end, after Brainy's transformation and the Trips' reunion. If the Legion cartoon has to end, I think this was a good closer. And while I see how some people think the closing scene could be a cliffhanger, I think it's more there to show that there will always be evil, and the Legion will continue to fight it. (like the final Teen Titans episode, as someone mentioned)

And for those of you who missed watching parts 1 and 2 of Dark Victory on TV like I did, some guy on YouTube has uploaded both parts, and most of the other episodes of season 2.

I thought the 2-part Dark Victory episodes were fantastic! The creative team who worked on the series did a great job of portraying the spirit of the Legion throughout its two seasons, and especially on these ending episodes

Here's hoping we somehow get more Legion animations!
I'll even buy any sugar coated cereals who will sponsor it!

When the 3 Trips reunited, I had tears in my eyes!
That being said, I had tears in my eyes thru most of the episode.

Now that I've seen every episode of both seasons, I honestly feel that the underlying plot of the entire series was the love affair btwn Supes & Brainy.

I thought the ending was great but of course i wanted a few more moments from it. Heh.

It was with mixed feelings i saw the last of this animated version of the Legion and i couldn't help but reflect on the two different seasons and how much it changed in season 2.

I LOVED, absolutely loved the last desperate battles both within Brainiac and without. One of my favourite moments from the battle outside had to have been when Cos, Sunboy and Garth combined their powers. That was pretty cool! And every able bodied legionnare fighting in some way!
Human Brainy was a total surprise but wow that great moment, so was White Trip' returning and Kel swearing the oath.
