well it looks like my PC problems, are behind me !!!
i managed to sort everything out today, the main problem, was that i had upgraded my laptop from it's original setting of "Windows ME" to "XP", and the reason i had done this, was because i'd bought an
iPod whilst i was in the US over the summer !!!
and it needed to be "XP" to run, along with
iTunes !!! but after upgrading, i started to have all these problems ....
it would crash, i couldn't get things to load onto it, etc !!!
so after speaking to quite a few different PC repair places, the told me there simply isn't enough memory to run everything properly, and "XP" could do with be installed in a different way, for example reboot, my PC and re-install it !!!
but because this would cost between £60 - £100 and i would need more memory, to be installed onto it, with further cost !!!
they all recommended, that it would be better to just get a new machine !!! [ because even if i paid to have all this work done, my laptop is still over 3 years old !!! ]
so i'm back to my "Windows ME" version, and everything is working fine !!!
but, i'll have to get a new laptop, at some point, if i wanna continue putting music onto my
iPod !!!
so ..... i guess, i'll be getting that
