Brainy is probably my least favorite Legionnaire, but I'd rather not see such liberties taken.

Brainy became a big fave when DNA took over.

As an aside Rocky, isn't it time you continued the tag team thread you started? tongue I mean, we ended up with Blaze as a baby and Tim as a mouse!

I don't intend to be a pedophile husband tongue (that's Blaze"s role, he's older!)

Check the link, BraJa. It's a Tag-team fiction thread set in the LMB universe. Each successive poster must continue the story.

Sounds interesting. I might join in, but I'm not very good at writing narratives.

No worries! It would be great to have you, and it's really more about the crazy twists you introduce than it is about how elegant your writing is.

And the LMB universe is just the place to be crazy in!

On this side of the Pond, we call a "mangle" a "wringer". Both sound rather like torture devices.

One-Hand Harry would agree. Except I can't find One-Hand Harry.

There is this curious bit of red cloth stuck in the mangler, though...

In the Flintstones episode "Disorder in the Court", Fred is the foreman on the jury that convicts a criminal called the Mangler.

That sure is a scary villain name for a kids' cartoon.

Remember that The Flintstones was not intended to be a kids' cartoon, though by the sixth season when that episode aired, it had become less adult in content than original intended.

Oh, I didn't know that. Something else else new... though thinking about it, I can see why. The main characters are two married couples.
