I walked into my local Humane Society's shelter eleven years ago and a beagle mix looked up and smiled at me. Hyvvie the Wonder Beagle will be 14 in January.

Speaking of ducks: Why does Howard the Duck get such a bad rap? That thing is _still_ one of my favorites.

That was one scary duckling.

I always preferred Wendy the Witch and Little Lotta myself.

Casper going back to try and prevent his own murder? Sounds like a series waiting to happen.

Casper goes back and murders someone else to take his place as "Casper" Someone willing to come back in time to kill themselves, so that *they* become Casper. Things get worse from there.

Kid Devil's mentor, Blue Devil, winded up in the Vega Galaxy during the first Crisis.

When Kid Devil grew to be adult he and his mentor, Blue Devil, formed the Dirt Devil vacuum company in the Vega Galaxy until they were hit with a trademark infringement suit.

Velveeta is definitely alien in origin, possibly from Vega.
