But these days, I'll probably check in on as many eps as I can. (Luckily its only 8:30). KC, I think the 'magic number' for syndication is the # of episodes, not the number of seasons. That being said, a fourth season usually means a show has hit that special number, which is something like 70.

However-- I can understand not wanting to be yelled at too. For me, as a fan and not an insider, I just wanna see my favorite TV show maintain its quality! However, I have further doubts that it will be able to now... writer Chris McKenna (responisble for such brilliance as this season's 'Remedial Chaos Theory' episode and the sole remaining season 1 writer) has quit now. Have we, the fans of COMMUNITY, entered the DARKEST TIMELINE???? I will certainly be interested to see how Season 4 holds up! I struggled through a bunch of episodes and think it's become so self-indulgent to become a parody of itself. (and not in a good way) Harmon leaving actually gives me a little bot of hope that the next season will be a little more of what the show used to be in season 1. "Death of a Legionnaire" fan comic

I get the whole 'pardoy of iteself' you speak of-- but I think Community's parodying of itself is sheer genius. I think it evolved beyond its early roots into something TV has never seen before. And I'll be rooting for it all the way through season 4, no matter what happens. I wouldn't necessarily mind a return to less meta storylines myself.
