I'm more into the anime block - "Samurai Champloo", "s-CRY-ed" and my new favorite show "Paranoia Agent"!

I love Brak! And Sealab 2021! And enjoy the odd Harvey Birdman, even though i've seen less of him than the others.
But unfortunately I don't get cable any more, so I've had to wait for the DVDs... Speaking of which, I think I have a couple to catch up on!

And remember: The baby can do what he wants so long as he doesn't touch my stash... Moustache.

Howlin' Mad-Dog Murphy signing off! Fiiiignuts!

Drake, I've wanted to try the Saturday anime block but just haven't yet; I'd likely enjoy it if I did.

Sealab season 3 is coming soon on DVD, Star!

I really really want a Venture Brothers DVD!

I've only caught a few minutes of Venture Brothers. What's the premise for that cartoon?

Cru, the Venture Brothers are cute teens Hank & Dean Venture. Their father is Dr. Venture, son of a deceased big-shot super-scientist. Dr. Rusty Venture apparently inherited all the fame and money but not quite all of the super-scientist-ism, though he's certainly a lot smarter than your average joe.

Hank and Dean are pretty clueless but adorable. Dr. Venture's main foes are Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend, though at one point Dr. Girlfriend was falling in love with him.

My favorite characters, though, are Brock Sampson, The Venture family's bodygaurd and I like Helper too, he's this little robot thingie that malfunctons all the time. They should rename it Hindrance.

There is also a Master of the Mystic Arts type, Orpheus iirc, who lives on the Venture property. He's way kewl.

SPOILERS FOLLOW HERE!!!

In the final episode of Season 1, before ADULT SWIM greenlighted a season 2, both Hank and Dean were killed. But it was implied in previous episodes that they are clones anyway, so....

I've been watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force back when there was only like two people in the world who liked it!

I bought my g/f a Meatwad t-shirt for Christmas last year, and that's her favorite gift from me ever, after five years of expensive stuff!

With the exception of "Tom", I love all of these.

It's been great to see some old Space Ghost: Coast to Coast reruns recently too.

Think Jonny Quest, Adult-Swim style. Except "Jonny" and "Hadji" are more like Wally & The Beaver, and "Race" has a frou-fy mullet.

Harvey Birdman is one that I don't catch a lot, but always am glad when I do. The theme song for it is beyond amusing too (Habies Corpus! [I know I spelled that wrong laugh ])

I like most of these (not that I've seen much of them-- every time I remember to give 'em a try, I seem to catch the same episdodes... there oughtta be a term for that phenomenon).

AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE isn't one that I 'get', for some reason.

I liked a show that doesn't appear to be in production any longer... it was called THE OBLONGS and had some good actors supplying the voices. Jean Smart, Will Ferrel, Lea Delaria...

ATHF... it's pretty stream-of-consciousness; I do find myself drawn to the sheer hatefulness of Shake, silliness of Meatwad and pity poor Frylocke!

My favorite part of ATHF is that the characters constantly talk over one another and don't care if you can catch all that's going on. It's such a run-on joke with no real point...for some reason I think I 'get' that more than all the others! laugh

I got the Harvey Birdman Season 1 DVD set... it SO rawks.

"MARVY ATTORNEYYYYY....!"

But as you may tell from other threads, I'm going on a VENTURE BROTHERS rampage.

So, anyone like the newer stuff like MORAL OREL, METAPOCALYPSE or SAUL OF THE MOLEMEN?

ROBOT CHICKEN, btw, has eveolved into one hella-AWESOME show.

I had a dream where the "Robot Chicken" opening sequence was redone...

The mad scientist cuts through some yellow "crime scene" tape to retrieve what looks like a partial human body. He takes it to the lab, does the work -- and it's Tharok, instead of the chicken! eek

So what segments would you do for a LSH-based "Robot Chicken" episode?
