My Bucs beat New Orleans? Bad! I picked against my own team! Suprised by Packers as well. Suprised by San Fran over St. Louis at St. Louis.

Speaking of St. Louis the Bucs play them this coming Sunday. They play in a dome. It's been HOT as HELL in Tampa with no wind. I can't imagine how the players play in the heat. I was doing yard work for about 30 minutes and thought I was going to die. So the Bucs might be a good pic.

Wow, I can't believe my Packers are 3-0, and beat the Chargers at that! I didn't even pick my boys in Lardy's NFL game...this is one time where I'm glad I was wrong.

I knew both the Giants and Jets would win this weekend. New York is different from other cities. Going 0-3 means you might be tarred, feathered and then hung from the Empire state building. I love the Big Apple

I'm shocked Cinnicinnatti lost again. Real shocked. I'm just not sure what isn't clicking.

My Bucs won! They are starting to click. Still have a ton of problems (our running game could be better for one).

I also knew the NY teams would win. No way a NY team will be 0-3. People would start getting fired.

I was suprised by a few outcomes. Green Bay? Jacksonville. Seattle? Didn't expect any of these teams to win.

They had at least four different games on in the bar at any given time, with supporters of all the different teams watching their game of choice. There was an atmosphere to the place without it being claustrophobic.

Being a Redskins fan I thoroughly enjoyed the game that we were watching - Billy didn't have a clue to the rules, so I had to explain them as we went along. Unfortunately we left at half time, so we never did see the end of the game - I get the feeling that the Giants came back though. It's probably just as well that we left when we did.

The barman was great - probably the most stereotypical New Yorker that we met on our stay. Very knowledgable - even knew a thing or two about Scottish soccer teams (and not just the Glasgow teams), which greatly impressed me. He was a Jets fan, so I don't think that he minded seeing the Giants being beaten.

And, to top it all, the burgers were fabulous! Billy reckons that thhey were the best that we had on the trip Stateside.

So, thanks again for the recommendation - we wouldn't have found it without you.

That's great that you had a good time, Numf! Watching NY sports team play when you're actually in NY is always a great time.
