Movieweb The CW is prepping the series The Graysons, based on Batman's sidekick Robin before he takes on the caped superhero status. alert nerd I don’t understand what this show will have to do with Dick Grayson at all. I don’t think he’s going to be the teenage son of a pair of circus acrobats, although if the CW is really willing to commit development dollars to a show about a family of circus acrobats, then GOD BLESS THEM. First thoughts - You tube vid What's the demographic for this show? Comic book fans? It doesn't matter. We don't care what Dick Grayson did before he was Robin.

IF this makes it to air, I give it a shorter run than Birds of Prey. It doesn't sound even remotely interesting. Bruce Wayne as a creepy sharpdressed pedo stalker in the crowd every few episodes? PASS.

Aw c'mon. Circus scenes, clowns, acrobats, elephants, protection racket gangsters and a wierdo rich guy with a fetish for tights. What's not to love? btw- If you do a search on Youtube for The Graysons you also get the link for the adult Robin movie Grayson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiZuvJ48MZ0 Pretty cool if only for the scenes with an older Superman and some of the other JLAers.

With all of the superheroes in the DCU, I can't believe that the powerless, costumeless Dick Grayson would get a series...

You would think a teen-aged Bruce Wayne would be more interesting. Training to physical prowess (Many shirtless scenes), traveling to foreign lands, learning the ways of criminals, etc.

Naw, I''d imagine the few moments Bruce Wayne might have been exposed to public schools weren't good ones. He'd come across as a singularly obsessed individual with an air of gloom and tragedy, guy with a genuinely justified Hamlet pose. -heh- oddly enough this would make him like all teenagers only more so. What I'd want to see is Alfred's adventures as an elder in the intelligence community while little Brucie attends prep schools. Mysterious ex-nazis, dictators and revolutionaries, the space race, exotic locals and of course a beautiful internationally diverse harem of lady companions. Pennyworth: Cold War Super-Spy Pennyworth. Alfred Pennyworth.
