Has anyone been watching this? I really didn't think I'd like it but I've found it to be pretty kick-ass. Creative plots, good pacing, decent acting and pretty amazing cinematography (the scene toward the end of the last episode with the Johnny Cash song? -purely brilliant). I might even venture to say I like this show better than the actual Terminator movies. Like I said, I'm surprised I like it as much as I do since it's a licensed franchise and other TV shows along those lines we've seen lately have been pretty pathetic. Take for example the incredibly lame Bionic Woman. Plus it's got the hunky Brian Austin Green (he can actually act!)as it's latest cast member who spends at least a little bit of screen time shirtless!

I think last week's episode was the last for the season but do yourself a favor and check this out when it comes out on disc. You too might be pleasantly surprised.

Monday's two-parter was indeed the season ender. And I hope it comes back for more. Best new sci-fi this year. What Bionic Woman wanted to be but failed at horribly. Even Caroline loved SCC.

I was wondering why there was no thread for this show. I love it, its kick ass and full of little twists. That chick terminater is killer in some scenes, and her no compromise attitude rocks.

Summer Glau is great. River as a Terminator. Excellent casting.

I do get confused however by the fact that she is learning everything and yet in critical times she acts human.
I hope its back next season.

I've enjoyed this series, as well. It definitely got better and better throughout its run. The whole cast is great, and I enjoyed how faithful it was to the mythos of the first two movies.

And I agree that Brian Austin Green was really good in it. His relationship to Kyle Reese is a nice wrinkle. I always thought the acting in 90210 sucked and that he was one of the worst actors on it, but he's really matured and obviously took some acting lessons! And he actually looks like a man, now! smile

And the main three: Sarah, John and Cameron are all really appealing and casted well.

One of the most intriguing twists was what they showed of the T-888 model. It/he actually married a woman (and later murdered her) to monitor her progress in her role of helping to create Skynet! In a way that's more fascinating in its implications than any of the other enhancements we've seen of Terminators so far!

I hope it returns, but I know SCC is on the bubble. Being on the bubble usually means bad news if you're a sci-fi program. frown

I'm out of the loop. I wanted to keep up with the show, but other priorities got in the way. I almost didn't recognize that was Brian Austin Green. Clive, what is his relationship to Kyle Reese? Who's Kyle again? Why is it a nice wrinkle? I need updates--obviously!

Kyle Reese is John Connor's dad--remember he and Sarah did the deed in the original film? Well, Brian Austin Green plays Kyle's brother Derek, who was sent back on another mission by future John along with some other resistance fighters to research Skynet's origins and if necessary, kill those who would play a part in building it.

It's a nce wrinkle to me because this gives young John Connor a connection to the father he never knew. The last episode has a nice moment between the two which helps pay this off.

One of the best episodes has a flashback/flash-forward to the future from Derek's point of view. We get to see Kyle and Derek and some background on Kyle's mission.

Wikipedia has a nice article on the show complete with links to episode summaries and what-not.

Man, I sure hope the show gets renewed!

Some apparent good news! Sci-Fi Wire and others are saying Sarah Connor Chronicles is among the shows "on the bubble" most likely to be renewed given strong numbers in its finale and the cross-promotion it should get with an upcoming fourth Terminator film.

Anyone watching the current season?

I hope so because, with the last few episodes, T:SCC is really starting to hit its stride! I haven't watched this week's episode yet, but last week's was EPIC! It effectively used one of my favorite storytelling techniques of letting the story unravel by showing what the various characters were up to. And by the end we got some resolution with the Terminator Cromartie's storyline.

What's really terrific about this show as it unfolds is that our protagonists are doing some really morally grey things to protect John from the Terminators. It's getting really gritty and edgy, and I couldn't be happier!

Anyone who is a fan of Firefly/Serenity just has to tune in and see our beloved River Tam, Summer Glau, as unlikely Terminator Cameron. She's AWESOME!

This show has been picked up for a full season order, so I hope you guys will give it a chance!

This was answered to some extent in the episode Alison From Palmdale.

Still totally loving this show! I seriously think it's amongst the best-written shows on TV right now, it just doesn't stop. If you haven't seen it, both seasons(so far) are available on Hulu. Which is awesome since Prison Break (another pretty kick-ass serial)is on right after it in the same timeslot as Heroes. I remember when there used to be nothing on TV Monday nights worth watching besides Antiques Roadshow.

This show rocks, and Cameron is killer in this series.
Monday's episode was also fantastic, i didnt know quite where it was going but again the show ends up being great. I like the idea of the alternate timelines.

It's really too bad this show was cancelled. The finale set up a thrilling, game-changing third season. frown
