I saw this very cool news pop-up on facebook this afternoon and was floored. I do have to wonder what is going on behind the scenes where DC is screwing over the JSA, Titans, Marvel family, etc for dcnu and yet everything is coming up roses and then some for the Legion. Four Legion titles in October? awesome.

I wonder if we will see any other Legion members appear in this mini-series besides those on the cover to issue 1.

I can't imagine they'd miss out on a chance for Brainy/Spock interaction.

Now that I've picked my jaw up off the floor and cleaned up the little pool of drool that formed while it was there, I can't help but think of the Cockrum/Grell era LSH cruisers that were so like the ENTERPRISE. And didn't Spock appear in a panel as a background character in that era?

Plainly, this was meant to be!!

Six ST characters and six Legionnaires-- Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Sulu, Uhura... they said Scotty stays on the ship... Chekov? Nurse Chapel? A red shirt?

I hope M'ress and Arex put in appearances!

Chris Roberson is a great writer and a really nice guy. I have met him a few times for signings here in Austin, I have no doubt that this will be great.

Two people I wish were alive to see this: Dave Cockrum, for obvious reasons; and our own Yellow Kid.

I don't know, I can't really see super heroes in the Star Trek Universe. It just has too many WTF factors for me.

Marvel did it back in the 90's with a Star Trek/ X-men cross-over and to top it off they did Star Trek TOS & TNG with the X-men

the bad guy was a Proteus and Gary Mitchell had combined to become one powerful entity, and the WTF moment came when the Imperial Guards Gladiator started punching through the Enterprise's shields.

It sounds like it won't really be the Star Trek universe per se - it'll be a weird altered universe. I love the novelty of the idea, but neither the story, the Moys nor the Legion lineup they have here really interest me.

I'll still pick it up from the racks and take a look...

Wow I feel like a idiot, Steve Lightle told me a month ago on facebook that he was working on a Legion/Star Trek picture, I just assumed it was for a commision or something, never crossed my mind that DC would let the Legion be in a crossover with Star Trek, Awesome!!!

I'd like to see Brainy vs Spock, but it may just be the five legionnaires on the cover.

i can't believe we'll see an actual legion comic NOT written by paul levitz... i'm so happy i could cry right now.

I remember someone saying that they had a choice of a five issue or six issue Legion project coming up, and, I think between Secret Origins and this LSH/Trek crossover, we've now finally seen both of them.
