As soon as I have them in my hands, I'll post scans. Don't want to jinx it.

I will say the Legion has a full set of these but the ones I found seemed to be a limited release and have nothing to do with the other set.

Of course just because I've never heard of the or seen them before doesn't mean they aren't common knowledge. But I can't find a record of them anywhere.

Got them in the mail today. My scanner isn't working so I'll have to sneak in some time at work tomorrow. Darden knows what I have (and has first dibs on my dups) and he had never heard of them either. I may have made my first AR discovery.

And as these aren't Adv. 247 homages, I'll start a new thread for them.

There's a few more parodies of these covers on the Dial B for Blog web site , featuring Rejected heroes such as Comatose Infant, Universe Destroyer Lad, and Little Hands (think Infantino captions).

The "How do you celebrate your Legion hobby?" thread reminded me that, over on the DCMB, as part of a Jeopardy-themed game thread I ran, I cobbled together a series of Photoshopped "ads" for it, one of which I give you for posterity, here:

I have a version done by Don Rosa, which unfortunately is a bit too big to scan, I think.

It has Huey, Dewey, and Louie as the "Legion of Jr. Woodchucks," rejecting Uncle $crooge:

"I'm sorry, Uncle $crooge, but we cannot admit you into our Jr. Woodchucks Club! The low score on the tests we gave that moneybag proves you're too cheap! Next time bring two bags of bribe cash!"

How about a digital pic, Stu? Not as good as a scan but then we'd get to see it..and it would be immortalized with the others!
