I apologize if this topic was already covered, I searched for a thread and could not find one.
Are we losing the Adventure Comics Legion to the current one?
Are they going to have two on going titles with the current group?
Will they cris-cross over on plots?
I have lived for the Legion and one day I shall die for the Legion.

I believe that the plan for Adventure is that the next two issues will be a current/modern LSH tale guest-starring the GLC (or at least one member of it) and then after that the Legion Academy will be taking over for an open-ended run by Levitz and Jiminez.
I think tales about the Adventure-era LSH are done with now. Which is for the best IMO. It was a good idea, poorly executed. Hoping Adventure will pick up steam (and readers) going forward from here.

A shame then. Between the two books, I preferred the Adventure. It was the perfect time to tie together all the bits and pieces in which the Legion of Super-Heroes was piece mealed together into a coherent flowing storyline. The perfect opportunity to take all of these odds and ends, keep the best, pass on the rest.
The Legionnaires joining, training, adding the members as time remembers them without glossing over the details like they originally did. A lot of those sillier moments really could have been turned around into more positive and believable adventures.
A missed spaceship if I ever saw one.

A missed spaceship if I ever saw one. IMHO the problem was that Levitz was telling the stories he wanted to tell and in doing so was jumping around. This left a lot of readers unsure about timeframes and continuity (PL seemed to ignore the Geoff Johns early legion appearances for instance). What I've wanted to see for a long time is a Legion:Year One where the full story is told chronologically and with a internal consistency that can make it the definitive canon.
"Our devotion to each other was unexplainable" "You were kids" "No Batman, we were Legion"

While that would be cool, I don't think it's a feasible project at this point. I'd say the first order of business is to get Legion into a stable sales orbit (and hopefully grow it), and then we can worry about universe building spin-off projects.

I didn't hate the early Legion stories in Adventure as a lot of readers on here did but even I was given reason to pause with certain revelations about "action" of certain Legionnaires during those early years. I am all for telling fresh new stories but without hurting existing cannon.
Anyways, while I will miss the first premise I also am more excited to have 2 Legion books, released 2 weeks apart, and occuring at the same timeline. That opens up all kinds of opportunities to showcase all the Legion members (hopefully!).
