I'm off today, but it looks like not much is progressing so far. Therest of the week I'm only gonna be here mostly for Night Shift (with a little late afternoon/early evening interspersed).

Des, do you have night shift access now with your phone or whatever? Seems most of the other players do, so if you do as well, that could help things progress.

The Search for Vee depends, well, on Vee, I guess. But we should be able to wrap that up in a week probably.

I guess this is all leading to a showdown with the Five Faces then? The Path looks to be close to complete, and once this final attacker is defeated, I'm sure Roy will reveal what the Tower actually is and how it relates to the Five.

Abin, if you have something else planned for Slim/Cobie, just let me know!

So much depends on who is around. Sheenu hasn't been around for about two weeks...(both IC and GDD lasted for months though, remember!)

Eh, I doubt death would shut me up. Besides, look at Numf-El-- he's been dead since before I got here and he still posts!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Amora, Nova Girl and me are definitely on the path to finish the Empress storyline. I'm sure it'll be resolved around the same time... I think, anyway.

The "Search for Varalent" is simply an opportunity to explore a few alternate realities and to allow some creative ground for some posters to resolve some ongoing issues. For example (and this is in no way planned but it occurs to me as a possibility if Rocky were to choose to do something like this) the group searching for Vee could cross paths with an alternate reality version of Rocky's boyfriend (I think his name is Blaine?) thereby bringing him back into this world as a companion...or it could be where Rocky's sister disappeared to.

Another possibilty, Frio could be trapped on Earth 3, replaced her by the Empress who is currently in control of her body here.

It also allowed me to transfer the Eye and it's power to newcomer Rex.

Actually, Vee, Rocky and I know what happened to Adelie...and you would to if you'd read "Smoke and Mirrors"!

Okay, so everybody's powerless! Will we get our powers back soon, so Lardy can challenge the Computer Tyrant's sinister part of this plan? I'm afraid it will require powers!

I mean, with Lardy's current state of having a temporal connection I can see a way out for him at least, but I don't want to step on any toes. Additionally Lardy's gonna need some powered help besides himself!

I doth have but one question: when the magical beam which hath snared myself, Caliente, and Nova Girl doth deposit us in the tower, do we continue posting in the Ice City thread or do we begin posting in the Tower thread?

Amora, I would say that you should probably use the Tower thread from here on out. I imagine that will be thread for all the action at the moment.

To follow up on Vee's comment, I think we can start funnelling all FFoD storylines into 'the Tower' thread from here on out...

Hmmm... Seems like we'll be stepping all over each other if everything happens in the "Tower" thread.

So, because Slim only really cares about his revenge on Cobie, I think he'll be gathering a force of B-List Super-Villains over in the Club Cobalt in Chains thread and preparing for when Cobalt returns to Legion World.

His intention always was and always will be to personally kill Cobalt Kid...

No duel to the death though, because in the end Slim is a coward who'll always have a back door exit available...

Oh and since I just figured out who Ambassador Angra Metternich is ---Okay I'm dense sometimes--- I sent you a PM detailing what the future version of EDG hoped to accomplish with her initial attack.

So open that alt and check your messages...

So Vee and I will be done by tomorrow afternoon, and then we can wrap up all the final confrontations throughout the next week.

All in all, a pretty cool storyline we've had going! It definately has wrapped up long-standing plot threads throughout the entire year! (Or will at least)

Just a reminder that I have the solution for the whole Computer Tyrant/Legion World in peril aspect of FFoD...so don't save the world, please!

I think you'll all be pleased and surprised by the dramatic results!

Too bad Shenu hasn't been around lately! But that's how things go, so no worries to that poster!

I was thinking we could leave the conclusion of Chuck's parts of the story until next week since he's out testing subs this week. That way, we can conclude the cosmic parts of the story this week, then round it out with the very personal Slim/Cobalt wrap-up.

As for Shenu, I thought about Lardy dropping a line about Dedman and Shenu taking their fight to the Poltergeist Area. And that would leave it to Deds to wrap up however he wants down the line, while still taking Shenu out of the action and explaining what happened to him.

What do y'all think of those ideas?

By the way, I'm hoping to wrap up the Computer Tyrant arc on Friday, when I'm off. I'm leaving for work in a few minutes today and won't have any day time posting tomorrow. Anyhow, I'm hoping Cobalt and Cali will be available Friday to add some scenes and interaction there.
