I remember the days before internet became popular, I can remember the days when all letters had to be typed and then posted (of course, you could write, but did you ever get printed?)
I'd be interested (perhaps someone else, too)whether any one at Legion World succeeded in getting their name in print in one of the various letter columns - and when. It would give one an insight on why a certain Legionnaire was more popular, who was the absolute favourite, and so forth!
So...'fess up!

I had a letter printed, but not in any Legion comics.

I had a letter published in Firestorm (the second series) and in Green Lantern (I think. I was writing about the Adam Strange back-up feature)

I had a letter printed in an issue of PADs Supergirl run (some time around #55 I think. It was about the issues running up to #50 anyway) and I had a letter published in an issue of Hopeless Savages: Ground Zero.

I wrote several letters in the 80s.
I got mentioned in 'round-ups' in Mage and Green Lantern... I did write to LSH, but don't believe anything came of it.
I may have written to Titans, too.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

Shady had a letter published in TMK Annual #1. When I was nine, I wrote a letter to the Avengers. I also wrote one to Batman (in pencil no less) around the same time. Alas, my lack of being published discouraged this pre-teen comic fan from writing again!

I was quoted a few times, but I only had a letter published once. It was a JLI issue around 1990 where Blue Beetle and Boster Gold build a resort on an island. I wrote a filk about it to the tune of "Ballad of Gilligan's Island".
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I was mentioned in a Legion Outpost roundup and had a letter printed in the regular Amethyst series after Keith Giffen ruined it. That was back in the day when they printed your address, and I actually got a penpal in Israel for a while until he stopped writing.

I was referenced in Legion a few times.
I've had full letters published in Detective Comics, Justice League International and L.E.G.I.O.N. I think that was it.

I can only think of one right now. I think I wrote in after issue #18 or #19 came out.
The crux of the letter was that I started reading the book because Captain Comet was back but that I was sticking around because the book itself was so good. Real awkward stuff. I don't think I could stand to go back and read it now.

I remember that one. I thought it was a good letter, because I felt that it told DC, in an indirect way, that they shouldn't take their iconic characters for granted, because they're a good magnet for bringing new readers to high-quality but somewhat obscure books like L.E.G.I.O.N. was at the time.

Only wrote in once and got printed? Mind you now i have read it again its a major brown nose job, no wonder they printed it. It was in DanA's legion issue 6, and at that time I had so many high hopes for the book.

I got two letters printed in Marvel UK's Wolverine & Gambit @ two times of trying. The first was a short, absolutely vitrolic piece at the inclusion of Gambit into the title, and I was really quite embarassed they printed it. The second was longer, more reasonable, talked about actual stories, and contained an apo-logie for the tone (but explicitly not content) of the first
