I'm trying to learn what I can about Kalibak from the New Gods in relation to the Legion and he being involved in the 30th century. I know he is the eldest son of Darkseid and often served as his second in command. In the Mayfair Games Legion Sourcebook they give stats for him and state that he is a "A Mockery of Darkseid's older son".

Is this to imply that it is a weaker version of the character? Is this the same Kalibak from the 20th century, just resurrected by Darkseid? Has the Legion ever encountered him? What are his powers and more specifically what does his Beta Club do? Ive read that it fire Nerve Beams and Force Bolts, what exactly are these powers?

I have lived for the Legion and one day I shall die for the Legion.

Yes, Darkseid can technically resurrect his minions, but they are a shade of their former self. He can't exactly restore souls, I think the power lies in DCU's version of God. I think Nerve Beams would be electric pulses that disrupt the nervous system. I am not sure about Force Bolts; but you might want to consider that the New Gods are fueled by the use of new technology. They should be pretty powerful in the 31st century.

To be honest, you might want to write a Fourth World set after Orion kills Darkesied. That way you can create other New Gods and not be restrained by continuity.
