Not really much to view here but it may cause some discussion (can't wait to find out who that is supposed to be). I will post the actual solicitation as soon as I can get my hands on it.

Supergirl for sure and possibly Brainy. Not really sure on the other two. Can't wait to see what Barry's pencils/inks look like on this one.

From the size of that hair, that woman on the opposite side of Supergirl can only be either Flo from TV's "Alice" or Sylvia from TV's "The Nanny".

It's the return of the big hair broads!

That scoop neckline looks kinda like Power Girl. Big hair, but alas, not a beehive.

First Brainy makes a new and improved Dreamy pop out of his head, now he can make Daxamites pop out of his digital camera's flash bulb. Don't let him near Cargg cuz i think Computo could reduce the population to one Duo Damsel.

I kept telling myself.....Supergirl, Brainy, Andromeda? or Dream Girl? (who else wears that kind of hairdo?) and Element Lad? or Star Boy?

My guesses are Supergirl, Dream Boy (or Cosmic Boy), Dream Girl (or Saturn Girl) & Brainy.

Supergirl, Brainy, Light Lass and Element Lad, in my humble opinion.

Oh yeah, and though I do look forward to Tarik da Mute, didn't Waid say he wouldn't bring back any old villians? Like if he suggested a new way to do them, it was time to leave the book?

Or did I miss the memo?

I do that.

OK, if it IS him, and he is being released from you-know-where, do we as of yet know who put him there? I'm kinda lost as to what realities are in play at the DC Universe.
Do we know if Kon did anything of historic value?
We recently (JLA#0) saw a possible future where Clark was filling in a hole in his old Smallville bedroom. Does that mean he wore the shield as a teen?
I'm hoping it was Supergirl who put him there. In an upcoming issue of her mag she is supposed to hook up with a new beau that no one approves of. Things coming full circle? I put it to you.

Except for appreciating the artwork, I stopped getting excited by covers for the current run when I realized that they're merely indicative of the story line and do not represent actual events — even when they appear to be actual scenes (#19 and #20, for example). The same goes for solicitations, which have sometimes been flat-out wrong in summarizing a particular issue.

So we don't even know if the figure on the cover for #24 really is the Legionnaire we thought we'd never see again. He could be a member of the LSV, for all we know.

This could be a tie to 52. Remember the "Find the last El" note seen in Rip Hunter's lab?

I still say it looks like Reflecto, though.

If it is a girl with big hair, my first thought is Lydda.

No! No! No Reflecto or any other pretender! They must not tease us about bringing back Mon and then rip him away again. I hope Mr. Waid and Mr. Kitson understand that a red herring of that magnitude would force them to hide in an underground shelter on some remote, uninhabited island south of Cape Horn to escape the consequences.

First thing that crossed my mind was Mon-el. But then I thought about it and looked at it again.

My second thought was Reflecto. I'm still not sure which I think now.

Sorry for the sporadic postings, but Lightning Lad obviously hasn't been happy with how I'm drawing him as our village was struck by lightning and all the phone lines completely fried!

Anyway.... the cover IS an actual event in the story...and without giving anything away...I think most of you are going to really be happy with this BIG story

I'll try to get scans of pencils and inks to 'our' Lightning Lad today - internet connections willing!
