who wants to bet that we get Bedard and Calero for 6 issues, then the Action issue happens and SLSH is "cancelled/on hiatus". then we get a "Legion of Three Worlds mini-series" for the 50th Anniversary which leads into a new "definitive" LSH book.
haven't we been here before?

maybe not canceled/hiatus; maybe part of the x-over.

then again, I did predict this series would end at 38, too.

I hadn't thought about it, but GN's hypothesis sounds plausible to me. hmmm

I was searching (unsuccessfully) for a thread in which I offered to pay Eryk Davis Ester $20 if his prediction of three Legions for the 50th anniversary came true. Or something like that....

It appears that many fans are expecting this multi-Legion event. Hope we're not disappointed.

What about the animated Legion? They could appear as holo-characters or even as from a strange world in which everybody looks like cartoons.

As long as it's good, that's the main thing. But I'm kind of starting to get the idea that DC puts out most of its good comics by accident. The ones it really tries to make good, aren't.

So, re-boot fans, I'm curious...

It seems the versions we'll have will be:
the current version,
the "original" version extrapolated from, perhaps, before the five year gap,
and some version with XS in it.

So, if the XS version is depicted, how faithful do you want it to be to what we last saw?
Jarth?
Snake-woman?
Dead collosal boy?
Is there a particular issue you would extrapolate from? Or retcons you would make? Or would any of that be blasphemy?

I'd like it to be completely faithful, although with some allowances for passing time since the last time we saw them. For instance, DnA once said, as I recall, that they had always planned to disentangle and restore Live Wire and Element Lad; no reason why we can't have that take place in the interim.

Wasn't the "LSH of 3 Worlds" thing pretty much heavily foreshadowed by Thom in JSA? Or was that in reference to a past adventure? Or are ALL of his adventures past adventures...? sigh

It was referred to as a past adventure by Thom.

Which is probably going to confuse things even more, if we have a story of the WaK and post-Zero Hour Legions teaming up with a younger version of the Lightning Saga Legion...

It could even feature younger versions of the reboot and threeboot Legions. Like, the pre-DnA reboot Legion, and the pre-Invisible-Kid WaK Legion. Why not? Time travel, baby.

I'm with you on this 100%. The only way anything will ever even begin to gain acceptance will be if it has the quality to back it up--and now moreso than ever.

I don't think the SW6 Legion would be included in the 3 Legions if you have the Lightning saga one already.

Guilty of deflationary thinking and faulty memory. It wasn't the three legions, but my offer stands. LuckLords
