Hi guys, I usually lurk, but thought I'd pop up with a quick question.

I've been able to assemble a pretty thorough Legion collection back to Superboy 172, but the only "major" appearance I haven't picked up is XS' guest appearances in The Flash and Impulse. I was just wondering if they are worth picking up and what issues to get? And just how major are they?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, Paul. Jenni's crossovers into the 20th century aren't the most major storylines in the world. Obviously, she never goes into big detail about them in the real book and they haven't radically changed her...but I'd recommend picking up at least her appearances in Impulse for the endearing interactions between her and cousin Bart as they learn to get along.

XS was in Impulse #9-12, with 10 & 11 being part of a crossover and not necessarily too many Jenni moments. She was also in a concurrent issue or two of Flash at the time for the crossover, though I don't have the reference numbers. They're post-100 though, like #108 or #111 or something like that. She also appeared (alongside a cameo of a Legion tryout) in Flash #148-150 I believe for another crossover. I don't remember hearing she was majorly in that story, but she's there nonetheless.

Thanks guys! I sorta set limits on what guest appearances to get when rebuilding my Legion collection....sounds like most of the issues had her in the background and saves me a bit of money.

Wasn't all that Flash stuff during the summer of "The Dead Earth" annuals?
There's one that stars XS and brings her out of the 20th century and back into the 30th.
I believe it was the Legion of Super Heroes Annual that year and also Wildfire starred in the Legionnaires annual.

I'm sure you guys keep better track of those issue numbers than I do.
