I'll pass. I'm more interested in seeing how this plays out with Brainy. Just wish they move along with that plot.

That this plotline is unresolved is criminal!
BRING BACK DREAM GIRL!!
*sigh* At least we know she's around in the 'toonverse, along with OTHER criminally ignored favorites.

I think that Brainy is using Imskian tech to shrink Dream Girl down to where she can be brought to the Imsk ER to save her life and Dream Girl has to stay hidden inside Imsk or Brainiac 5 thus sending a telepathic message to Brainiac 5....Brainiac 5 must have used Lemnos to make Element Lad and Light Lass forget about what's really happening and what Brainiac 5 really did. Voila! when the right time comes, Dream Girl pops up alive!!! yeah!!!
Bring her back soon!!

Mysa has the body. Brainy has her memories. Now all we need is a genesis device...

Bring her back. If there's some multiverse shake-up planned, she can come back in that. Dream Boy can head up the Subs. I kinda like him, but not as much as Nura - and the Nura-Brainy budding romance was en route to become one of the classics. Now it's just sorrowful - unless she's in his mind from some other dimension.

I largely agree with Cramer, but at this point rather than see Yet Another Death reversed, I'd like to see if WaK are actually going somewhere with the current scenario.
If she were to come back w/o a multiverse, it could be with an updated Miracle Machine story. Brainy 'wishes' her back, but she herself never really knows if she's herself or just a manifiestation of B5's wish.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

Dream Girl was this incarnation of the Legion's "hit out of the ballpark" for me...both in terms of character and in design. It seems almost criminal to remove her.
I usually loathe to hate any (especially Legion) character, but Dream Boy sucks.
Bring her back and make this whole nonsense a bad dream.

Yeah! What they all said. I want her back NOW!
Have Dream Boy become brain dead after accidentally overdosing on Profem at the Robot Gladiator Tournaments and then pop her psyche from Brainy's well, um, brain into his/her body. Problem solved.

In my book, killing Dream Girl is to Waid's run what revealing Venge to be Computo was to DnA's run. It ruined the one really interesting element of the series.

I don't really think they should bring her back. Dead should be dead.
But I do agree with Nightcrawler's first paragraph.

Okay, I'm feeling kinda mad about how Dream Girl has been treated in Legion books!
She was a phenomenon in the Levitz era. A true SUPER hero. Beautiful and fun and funny and as adept as could be.
Then, they turned her into a clown. A big, silly woman with half naked men all around.
Then, reboot. They don't feature her for like, EVER, then when she's intro'd, she's a ditzy narcoleptic! At least she's pretty.
She eventually gets some reasonable treatment in the book, becomes a member, and time to end the series!
The REIMAGINING.... she's the beautiful, adept Legionnaire again! And she gets squished by a building! Oh, wait, she *might* be revivable. No, she exists in Brainy's ...brain?
Feh! Why can't Dream Girl just be Dream Girl and be awesome? Why is that so much to ask?

I've always been a Dream Girl fan and think Waid's interpertation of her was great. In spite of all that I don't want her brought back just to be brought back. If Waid has a plan for her and Brainy, then I'll go along with it.
I also like Dream Boy. He's no Dream Girl in terms of powers, but I like how he keeps trying even though the others don't accept him as Dreamy's replacement.

I wouldn't mind a soft reboot for Dream Girl's sake. Maybe Mon-El or Supergirl can punch reality. Apparently, they're able to do such things.

I bumped into reality once while intoxicated. It wasn't pretty...

[best brainy imitation] listen up you hairless simians. all life is information. Dream Girl's info now resides within my exquisite intellect. as soon as I have time (there's the matter of that red dust)I will construct a matrix to contain her info[/best briany imitation]
anyway that's my guess.

I was one of the people screaming long and hard when she died.
However, the laws of the comic book universe state that no one is really dead until they're really dead. And even then, there's still a chance that they're not really dead yet. This constant holds even more true if the person is a bad guy.
Dreamy will be back. The question is, "When?"
And unlike a lot of you, I kind of enjoy the dangling plots because: 1) It makes the run seem like an actual series, as opposed to a bunch of Trade books.
and
2) It gives us more things to talk about and develop conspiracy theories about on this board other than the cape length of Saturn girl's costume.
Speaking of the cape length of SG's costume, it's rather short for a girl's cape. I mean, wouldn't most girls prefer to hide their toushy? Also, capes were originally used to keep warm and I can't see that thing keeping anyone very warm. Girls are always getting cold and wanting sweaters and stuff. So, I'd imagine that they'd also want a longer cape to pull around themselves.

Sure, I'm all for bringing Dreamy back, partly to annoy people who believe "dead should mean dead" in super-hero comic books. The heck with verisimilitude, just make it a good story. Make it a good *love* story.

I expect her back eventually, but hope there's a natural plan for it with the Brainy/Dreamy subplot.
Dream Boy does suck. I say he gets a horrendous 31st Century Sci-Fi death that gives me the same chilling gross-out feeling that I got when I first watched the Alien films. I mean, how do you get a generally awful character to be reminisced? Give him a great death. And yes--no arguments, this character is awful.
Overall though, I'm kind of with Eryk. Her dying was like taking the wind of the series' sails. It really needs to be back before the its gone from the sales.
