Part of me feels like this thread belongs in the Trophy Room, but since these are my work and not exactly Wizkids' I'm puttin' it here. This is also an experiment to see if I can link to an image.
So, without further ado, here is my Legion of Super-Clix!

Woo Hoo! It worked! Now I'll need to get some close-ups.

Those look great Sudro! I've got a custome Garth and Imra and they look almost identical. A Nightwing used for Garth and a Invisible Girl used for Imra.

Can't wait to see the close-ups.

And are you going to let us in on how you customized them?

About half are straight repaints with only some trimming and filing.

T-Wolf is a direct repaint of the Marvel Sabertooth figure. He's glued to a Rookie Hawk base to reflect his acrobatics (Leap/Climb) and his fighting ability (Close Combat Expert)

Cosmic Boy and Lightning Lad are both repaints of the Nightwing figure with the sticks cut off. I also filed off the arm and leg cuffs on Garth, though they were perfect for Rokk! Rokk is on a Magneto base and Garth is on a Human Torch base (though I'll probably change that; I don't like how LL plays in the game)

Sun Boy is a repaint of the Marvel Pyro figure, with a lot trimmed off. He's probably the figure I'm least happy with. Pyro has this maniacal grin that I just couldn't quite get rid of. It just doesn't seem quite in character for ol' Dirk. He too is on a Human Torch base.

The next group went through some modfication before painting.

Saturn Girl is based on a Marvel Invisible Woman figure. The FF emblem has been filed off and Citadel's Blue Stuff molded around her waist for her little half-skirt thing. She's on a White Queen base.

Phantom Girl is also made from an Invisible Woman figure, with more Blue Stuff for those fabulous bellbottoms and bell sleeves. She still needs some work though. The Blue Stuff doesn't quite meld into the rest of the figure yet. She's on a Shadowcat base.

Shrinking Violet is made from a Marvel Psylocke figure. Her sword was cut away and Blue Stuff added for the boot cuffs. She's on a Wasp base.

White Witch comes from a Marvel White Queen figure. Blue Stuff for the skirt and sleeves. She's on a Dr. Strange base.

The real piece de resistance is Wildfire. Upfront I should say that I didn't come up with the combo on my own. I stole it whole hog from another guy who has done some really nice Legion customs on the HCRealms MB. From the waist down, he's an Intergang agent. From the waist up, he's Booster Gold. Except the head. That came from Avalanche. Add in some Blue Stuff to hold it all together and Ta Da! Wildfire! He's on a Firelord base, which, as those in the HeroClix surely know, enrages anyone who sees him appear on the board.

I'll try and take some close-ups this week. Later, I'll regale you all with my plans for future members of the Legion of Super-Clix

Drake on a Firelord base. Classic. I don't think I would have thought of that one.

Have you every played any of your Legion figs in a game? Its been so long since I played they've changed the rules around.

I have played them several times as a team. Unfortunately, their current lack of any real powerhouses, like Mon-el, Ultra Boy, or Blok, means that they can't quite go the distance. And, now that dumb ol' Wizkids changed the rules so that flyers can't carry other flyers, the Legion is really hamstringed.

BTW, I suddenly can't see the picture. Can you?

? I can't now either. Probably because the pic exceeded the bandwidth allowed for Yahoo already.

And I know what you mean about not having a powerhouse. I'm hoping the next DC set will help solve that. Of course, making a Superboy, Ultra Boy or Mon and putting him on a Superman base would help. And the Thing would probably make a good Blok base.

Yeah, I've been looking for an E Thing to turn into Blok. I do have one, but I'd rather use an extra if possible. E Thing is a very useful figure. And at some point I probably will break down and create a Mon-el to plant on a R or E Superman base. When the bug bites me I guess.

I had a feeling that Yahoo would be a temporary solution to posting pictures. Can you (or anyone else out there) recommend a good, free photo or image hosting service?

There's Village Photos off hand that I can think of. Grey used to have one he'd recommed but I think he's having trouble with it working now.

We can always host them for you for a bit. Just let Gary or I know and we can upload them for you.

And let me know when you feel like getting around to working on a Blok. I believe I've got and extra E. Thing or two. I'd just have to go and grab my Clix out of storage. Got boxes of the things. And by boxes I mean cases as I used to buy each new release by the case. I was really addicted.

The MyWebpage space offered at Netscape's site has stopped working for me. (No more display of control buttons.) It does work for Dean and Crujectra. Go *ahem* figure {grin}

What I can recommend heartily at present, though, is a new free site: graffiti.net

If you sign up (and it doesn't intrude much as to required data), it offers an e-mail account and "Web hosting."

Not well explained on the site in advance, but you'll get 20 MB of space that allows "remote linking," as we're using here with the IMG tag. It also can be subdivided easily into folders.

Thanks again Grey. I knew you had mentioned a new site but I couldn't remember the name of it.

Thanks guys! It seems to be working now. doing this stuff at graffiti.net brings me back to the web design courses I took a couple of years ago. I'm glad they were good for something!

And now it's not working again. Gah. If anyone wants to look at the pictures over at Yahoo, look here:
Sudro\'s Photos

At some point I'll get my own homepage back up again and post them there.

And, in case anyone's interested, I'm the guy on the left in the blue shirt in the pictures in the "Mail Attachments" folder.

Ignore the Yoda head in the second picture. My friend Brian enjoys playing in MS Paint during slow days at work.

I have done some custom made too:

I transformed Dove into Saturn Girl just before the real Saturn Girl clix came out.

Human Torch into Sun Boy. Perfect!! but need to work on face.

Blob into Bouncing Boy.

Skrull Commando into Chameleon (which will be out in the next set: DC Unleashed!)

Sabretooth into Timber Wolf (three different version)

Huntress into Apparition

my next project: tear Archangel's (too many angels!!!) wings and try to figure out how to take Viper and others to transform all of them together into DAWNSTAR!

Bane into Ultra Boy is a possibility after I am done with Project:Dawnstar.

Good thinking about Wildfire by the way.
