Garth Ranzz of Winath gained the ability to generate electrical energy after being attacked by the lightning beasts of Korbal. Hotheaded as a youth but ever heroic, Garth has weathered many tribulations to achieve near legendary status.

He joined at 14 Earth-years of age and has been romantically linked to Imra Ardeen, wedding her at 18 years old.

He is currently 19 Earth-years old.

Rene Jacques Brande is a multi-trillionaire Earther industrialist and the financier of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He harbors many secrets including his true identity.
Is he a Durlan?
Or the last son of Mars?
Or a mutant human of tomorrow?

DOYLE GARVEY GREZWALD

Earther thug hired by a mysterious benefactor to assassinate R. J. Brande. Instead, he is defeated by three intrepid youths and indirectly helps to create the Legion of Super-Heroes. The citizenry of various penal planets have rewarded him graciously over the years.

Tinya Wazzo of Bgztl can become immaterial at will, as can all Bgztlers. Escaping a controlling mother, Tinya aligned herself with the fledgling Legionnaires and became one of their first two recruits. She is a founding member of the Legion Espionage Squad.

She joined the team at 15 Earth-years old and was immediately romantically linked to Jo Nah, though gossips have suggested a romance between her and Brin Londo. She married Jo Nah at 17 Earth-years.

She is currently 20 Earth-years.

Phantom Girl, Phase, Apparition

Luornu Durgo of Carggg can, like all of her race, separate into three identical selves. Her uniquely independent psyches may have made her an aberration on her homeworld, but as the chief administrator of Brande Industries, she's considered indispensible. As a Legionnaire, she primarily oversees their day-to-day operations but she's ever on call as a founder of the Legion Substitute Squad.

She was 17 Earth-years when she became a Legionnaire and has been romantically linked to Chuck Taine (her orange self) and Tenzil Kem (her purple self). She harbors a major crush on Lar Gand.

She is currently 22 Earth-years old.

MARLA LATHAM

Marla Latham of Earth is Brande's most trusted associate and was assigned to the Legion as their adult advisor and coach. Like Brande, Latham may be hiding a former heroic career in his past.

TAURUS GANG

ZOLTORUS: Corrupt Science Police chief Dez Zoltorus of Earth uses his connections to procure dangerous criminals to do his master's bidding. Zoltorus' backer is the same mysterious benefactor who hired Grezwald to assassinate Brande.

BLACK MACE: Mick Yardreigh of Earth is a convicted felon with heightened strength, known for using a Thanagarian force mace as his weapon of choice.

MAGPIE: Benn Pares of Earth is a notorious thief and uses advanced technology to aid him in his crimes. He seems to possess a type of prescience which alerts him to personal threat.

ORGAN-THIEF: Pinter of Earth is a serial murderer who uses the organs of those he kills to extend his own miserable life.

VIOLENCE QUEEN: Cera Kesh of Earth is a meta with tremendous strength and resistance to injury. She is a fierce combatant as well and a known anarchist.

AMB. WINEMA WAZZO

Winema Wazzo serves the United Planets as its Bgztlian ambassador and still finds enough time to meddle in her daughter's affairs. Searching for her missing daughter (who was in hiding from her mother), she finds her the universe's latest media sensation as a part of the Legion of Super-Heroes that has captured the Taurus Gang and exposed corruption in the Metropolis Science Police. Knowing her daughter will not take her advice, she feigns support actively petitions U.P. member worlds to seek representation in this youth movement by sending delegates of their own.

She was 15 Earth-years when she joined and has been romantically linked to Querl Dox and Rond Vidar.

She is currently 20 Earth-years old.

He has invented numerous wonders, including his force field projector, anti-lead serum, the Anywhere Machine, and C.O.M.P.U.T.O. Aloof and focused, he must ever guard against another psychotic break.

He was 14 Earth-years old at the time of his joining and he has been romantically linked to Cecebeck, Laurel Gand, and Lyle Norg.

He is currently 19 Earth-years old.

CHAMELEON

Reep Daggle of Durla shares the natives' power to morph into most any form he can imagine, with limitations only on the form's mass. He has developed from an odd alien with a heavy accent to an accomplished detective and criminalist. He is a founding member of the Legion Espionage Squad.

He was 16 Earth-years old when first joining the Legion and he has been romantically linked to Yera of Durla, though he harbored a strong crush on Ayla Ranzz and still greatly cherishes her as his friend.

He is currently 21 Earth-years old.

Ti'julk Mr'asz of Vyrga can create, like others of his species, circular teleportational 'gates.' He has grown from a mistrustful anarchist to a proud and stalwart Legionnaire, though he's maintained his sardonic wit. He is a founding member of the Legion Espionage Squad.

He was 13 Earth-years when he first joined.

He is currently 18 Earth-years old.

INVISIBLE KID CHESHIRE

James Cullen of Antares (Xanthusian colony) used technology to somewhat mimic the natural powers of his younger sister, specifically in creating temporal stasis fields. Like Live Wire, he was often reckless in his approach but ever heroic in his motive, unfortunately he died before his reasoning could mature.

He was 17 Earth-years old when he joined and died within the year.

Kid Quantum, Soul of Antares

Gim Allon of Mars, as a young Science Police officer, gained the ability to increase his size and mass to colossal proportions. Perhaps Gim's greatest flaw has ever been in caring too much and accepting too much responsibility.

He was 18 Earth-years old when he joined and was romantically linked to Zoe Saugin, though he seemed to have a crush on Salu Digby. He died at 20 Earth-years old.
