Legion World Forums LEGION OUTPOST Bits o' Legionnaire Business "Legion of Lawndale Heroes" ("Daria"/LSH fanfic blend)

I just have to advise you of a "blended" fanfic work in progress elsewhere. Especially if you're a fan, as I became last year, of the animated world of "Daria," the girl at Lawndale High with the cynical, witty outlook that could cut glass.

The series originally was produced and shown by MTV, and is now running in the midnight hours on The N / Noggin. For more information in detail about the show, go here if you're new to it, or try this extensive fan-site , and both have links to many other sites.

One fanfic writer, with pen name of "Roentgen," is creating a Legion of Lawndale Heroes story series, involving Daria (fan-art below), her nemesis fashion-plate kid sister Quinn, and her best friend Jane.

They get sprayed by an escaped radioactive skunk, become able to read minds / cast lightning / attract metal (respectively), run into and help a billionaire when escaping Lawndale ... and, well, you Legion fen know what's coming in many ways. It's the crossover with the "Daria" personalities that's highly entertaining.

You can read the ongoing story, in its first posting, here . It'll be getting "beta" feedback from other "Daria" fans. I'll be adding a "Legion" perspective, but anyone who registers for that message board is welcome to provide feedback.

A bump, also noting that the story tends to have new chapters posted on or about Fridays, if you've begun to read it.

And that I've gotten a tip from the author: Other members of this Legion will show up soon, with analogues to the ones we Legion fen know well.

That's a pretty interesting take on the Legion story - I never heard of this Daria series, but it doesn't seem to be an obstacle to appreciating the writing.

Wonder if they'll do anything about the skunk and the lab it came from, in some future installment.
