Light powers, which I would use to fly around and travel the world invisibly.

SAPBM,

If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would it be?

My hair is getting a little bit thin and I don't like wearing hats in the summer. So I think if it thickened back up a bit...

SAPBM

If you could change one thing about your mental disposition, what would it be?

I'd work on my temper and on how I deal with anger. I don't think I was very good at it growing up, and even now I sometimes find it hard to control myself when I'm angry.

SAPBM,

If you could change one thing about your neighborhood, what would you change?

I'd have the sidewalks fixed.

SAPBM,

Tell us something about your childhood.

I was very fat. I peaked at 200 pounds before I began to slim down. Now I'm hovering at around 140-150 pounds. I'm trying to reach 135.

SAPBM,

Same question.

I was very fat. I peaked at.. oh wait. That was your childhood. Dang mine was worth swapping.

Single Mom home in a small roach infested apartment with no heat (or occasionally windows) in a Catholic neighborhood. One little kid actually thought I was the devil, lol.

It wasn't that bad. Just blowing it up. Typical kid. Baseball in the streets, digging to china with my favorite toy ever, a tonka truck...

SAPBM,

Same question. Everyone had a childhood. Happy childhoods only need to apply or we'll all get depressed, lol.

As a kid I loved to read so much that I would take a book into the bathroom and sit on the toilet for hours to read (and avoid my chores).

Person Below Moi,
What's your fondest memory from the 1990s?

1990s... I was in preschool and elementary then. Before I went to the USA for a two-week student conference. Hmmm...

I don't know. I wasn't a miserable kid, but I wasn't very happy either.

Probably spending weekends watching cartoons (I especially liked the New Scooby-Doo Movies, The Chipmunk Adventure, Ducktales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and Disney movies Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

And of course, spending my summers playing Suikoden 2! (Was that the 1990s though? I can't quite recall but I think it was.)

SAPBM,

Favorite cartoon?

So many good cartoons, but for over all long time enjoyment - Bugs Bunny cartoons from the 30s to the 50s.

SAPBM,

what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?

It has, at different times, been cookies & cream, vanilla, chocolate. Latest is mocha.

SAPBM,

What is the most pleasant dream that you have had?

I don't really remember my dreams. The only one I can recall right now was from when I was a kid and it involved my mother and my friend Julie turning into monsters and chasing me. SO hardly a pleasant dream.

SAPBM,

If you could go back in time and have dinner with Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and James Madison to discuss the Constitution and get their thoughts on such issues as the separation of Church and State and the right to bear arms; but knowing that the meal was raised by, prepared by, and served by slaves, would you? Please give you reasoning.

Oh sure. No brainer for me. Throw in Ben Franklin for the after dinner lechery.

Anywhere in the chain of food production even today you are going to find something of dubious morality. But that doesn't compare to the chance to hear, see, and talk to such history and oh by the way, tell them to eat up because someday they're going to have to pay those folks, to which they would most likely reply, "we know." It would also be a chance to talk to those under oppression to get a personal perspective of that life.

These people weren't dummies nor were they known to be exploitive in the relative sense, to my knowledge. I'm sure they knew exactly the moral compromises they were making and maybe even had some of it rationalized to their own comfort, but I doubt it. I suspect they carried their guilt and it would be good opportunity to flesh that out also.

SAPBM

What historical figure from the last 11 years of Legion World would you most want to sit down with for lunch and what would you like to talk about?

I would sit down with the legendary Engine Joe. As legend has it (or Cobie's LMB history thread!) Engine Joe was there for the beginning, and vanished mysteriously just as (or before?) the LMB officially formed. I'd ask him about what he was thinking when the LMB was about to form, and what he thinks about the LMB now.

SAPBM,

What historic LMB event (see Cobie's thread, and also The Lord of the Oval for more recent events) would you like to experience firsthand, and why?

I was already around for Lord of the Oval. (Thanks for bringing me in, sweetie wink )

The Road Trips sounded like a whole bunch of fun. Think of all the outfits I could have tried on!

SAPBM,

Which Legionnaire would you most like to date or hang out with in real life?

Tough one. I suppose it would be attending a student conference in the US. We transited through Hong Kong, then landed in Los Angeles and visited Santa Clara (sadly, not San Francisco). The actual conference was held in Washington DC (one week), we transited through Philadelphia and spent another week in New York. We visited Vancouver on the way back home.

SAPBM,

Same question.

That's tough. I guess it would be when I first watched Return of the Jedi. It blew my mind as a kid and made Luke Skywalker my childhood hero.

SAPBM,

What is your least favorite flavor of ice cream?

I generally prefer vanilla, chocolate, mocha and similar flavors over fruit flavors. I can't think a flavor I loathe, but I've always found bubblegum weird.

SAPBM,

If you could join one superhero team, which would it be? (besides the Legion)

I stopped drinking soda when I started going on a diet. But I used to really like root beer.

I think being Chameleon Boy would be fun. Being Dream Girl might help me win the lottery.

But overall, I'd say Mon-El. Super speed & Super strength would let me do lots of things in this 24 hour period.

SAPBM,

Werewolf, Vampire, Ghost, Mummy. Which classic monster would you want to be?
