Are these five the only original legionnaires that didn't appear in Threeboot? I'll call that close enough. Those are the Adventure Era Legionnaires who were not members of the Threeboot team (which otherwise was entirely made up of Adventure Era characters, aside from threeboot exclusive members Dream Boy and Gazelle). Of those, Matter-Eater Lad appeared, but not as a Legionnaire. I almost counted Mon-El, who didn't actually join in v5, but he's apparently depicted as a member in Legion of Three Worlds.

Wow. Thanks. Your clue really helped. It had to be something that, if it wasn't true, they probably would have appeared together, as you said. That led me to where had they all not appeared and Threeboot was the only place I could think of, which then led me to the answer you were thinking of. Still a guess but we got there. I didn't remember Matter-Eater Lad's appearance. (Just looked it up. That's right. He was a UP prosecutor.)
I will think of a new group soon. (Bit late tonight.)

Ah! great connection, and a tricky one for sure. Bouncing Boy appeared in a letter column, but was really Chameleon in reality.
Nicely done!
the fact that Supergirl was a Threeboot member also added to the trickiness in figuring it out!

Was probably that letter-column / feature. And he also did show up in that one issue, that included stories from alternate Legions (the Preboot). Alongside Dawnstar, Tyroc, Wildfire, White Witch etc... but this was not in continuity
