Just checking, above EDE had the following list:
Cosmic Boy

Magnetic Kid I
Size Lad
Blackout Boy
Since he included Size Lad and Blackout Boy from the super-pill Murrans I presume he also means the Murran Xaxan Magnetic Kid I and not Pol Krinn Magnetic Kid II.
I missed this at first thinking it meant Pol.
Idle is 2 still the correct number? that would also be my assumption. good spot though! always good to clarify.

First, Yes the number for EDE's list is still 2. I thought he meant the Murran Magnetic Kid when I answered, but as a hint, I will say that it didn't matter. I hope I haven't made this too difficult. It is an idea I had back when I started playing this game, but thought 8 would be too many. It is an unusual grouping.

I have another clarification I need to make (once again I just didn't think properly). For this set, all Superboys are being lumped in as one. I think only Kal was mentioned by name but due to not considering Jon or Conner as separate when I was counting, I will count them all as a single person this time (and promise not to do that again). I may have been too clever when trying to get this set to work.
Also, I will say that of the 8, two still haven't been guessed.

Sorry Idle but could you check your responses please? My last guess was a check on the status of Cosmic Boy because every other legionnaire I placed in the list was on a "0" list. However when looking at this old list of EDE's: Brainiac Five

EDE has it. My original thought was Powers that came out of the eyes. I can't believe I forgot to count all three Superboys since they were part of the reason I didn't use it earlier. I was not surprised that Visi-Lad was the last to be guessed.  You're up EDE.

nice connection! Visi-Lad was what clicked things together for me. it's easy to forget that Cosmic Boy had magnetic EYES way way way way back in his first appearance(s)! (not sure if it lasted more than one story lol)

It felt like it took way too long to catch onto the fact that all of the Kryptonian-type heroes were being included, but as soon as I realized that, it clicked with me pretty quickly how Cosmic Boy would fit in, and so it was a matter of figuring out who else would be included. Weirdly, Visi-Lad was obvious, but I would have completely forgotten about Laurel if I hadn't noticed that Ibby had included her. My first thought was to include Cosmic *King*, who I believe also projected his powers from his eyes in his earliest appearances.
Anyway, nice connection for sure!

I did start thinking it had to do with powers, because of Kal / Kara / Jo / Thom... then I had a hunch and guessed Laurel and Mon to see how that would work...
seeing Visi Lad clicked things in for me though!
