I think "Cherry Cherry" by Neil Diamond is my favorite Hot 100 hit from the year I was born.

I like cherry-flavored Starbursts, but my teeth just can't handle that kind of candy anymore.

I'll accept a Starburst or two from the woman who works one cube over from me, every few days. The best flavor was lime, which alas I don't think they've made in 30 years. [sulks] It's not just the free candy that makes me pleased to see people coming back to work. It's also that now there's conversation and noise in the area around me. There were several days in the dead of winter that I actually fell asleep for a few minutes at my desk because there was no activity around to help me stay awake.

It's also becoming alive again here. Almost like pre-Covid times.

Alas, I'm not at the gym any more than I was pre-COVID. I don't think physical therapy counts, right?

I didn't know you were getting physical therapy, Lardy. I hope it's going well.

Thanks, guys. It's for my right shoulder, which has been giving me trouble since late 2020. PT has been going well but slowly with some setbacks. I've decided to get a cortisone shot to help and should be getting it tomorrow.

I've decided to get a cortisone shot to help and should be getting it tomorrow. Good luck, buddy! I've been in and our of PT so much the last ten years, I know their playbook by heart. Do you know if the practice you go to does dry needling?

Yeah, its basically a much more aggressive version of acupuncture. I've had tons of issues with my lower back/hip muscles and dry needling in concert with the PT and exercise is the best treatment for any of those issues that I've had.
That being said, the treatment will depend on the root cause of the issue and all that.

It's believed to be rotator cuff. If this doesn't help, doc will order up some imaging. I don't know if dry needling would help.
Just came back from getting the shot. It was relatively painless. A little sore around the site right now.

Long as we're talking about physical therapy, this might be a bit of a (pun intended) stretch, but one week ago I started doing yoga.

All the best dealing with the Villainous Voodoo Master injections, Paladin. The weight of wielding the Lard Force is a heavy one, particularly around the shoulders.

The doctor taught me one exercise that you can do in a very small space, and without lying on the floor: First, extend your left arm as much as you can, then lean on the nearest wall with the palm of your left hand. Second, rotate the rest of your body as much as you can, by shuffling your feet to the right. Repeat, this time with the right arm and rotating to the left.
