There was a lot of stuff coming out the last week or so about the upcoming Legion appearances. But I was so sick of the responses here, I just couldn't bring myself to post any of it here. I was literally on my Twitter at the same time that Bendis was posting images, etc. and was about to come here and share it and then stopped myself and asked what was the point? No one here cares or would just post nothing but snarky comments. And so, I didn't do what I wanted to do.
Then this week, I resented that. I was pissed, actually. Why can't I post here about something I'm looking forward to a message board that I own? Especially news about the Legion! So, I've decided to make this thread and enforce my rules on it.

Yes. But I want to be honest and clear the Legion does not appear in the gorgeous @sanfordgreene illustrated Justice league annual. There are a lot of reasons to buy the annual And it does set up the JL/LOS storyline but for Legion completist's they don't appear

Glad you posted this. Like I said in the other thread I am just glad to see the Legion getting some more high profile exposure.
I hadn't seen the Hawkgirl/Dawnstar pick before. Interesting teamup I would like to see.

I'll say this - I'm not a fan of the Future State designs, but damn, does Travis draw an awesome Imra or what? And I'm guessing the Legion tie in is the Polar Boy story by Bernatovech. I'll read it!
Thanks for posting these, Nighty - part of the reason that I joined Twitter (as detailed in the groaning thread) was because I couldn't see the images posted on social media of things coming down the line. Of course, I don't have IG, as I won't cooperate with anything that Zuckerberg is a part of, but now the creators are shifting from one platform to another, requiring the masses to be a member of all. I absolutely won't do that, knowing the cost and all the social media gatekeepers in the way, so these posts are a welcome service.

Actually "safeties are off" on all of the other threads. I'm not trying to curb people's posting in general. Everyone can continue to post whatever they like here, here, here, etc. Anywhere but this specific topic/thread.
There are people who hate this version of the Legion, Bendis, black Lightning Lad, Sook's designs, etc. etc. They have every other thread open to them to complain, make fun of...whatever they need to get off their chests (as long as they obey the general rules) anywhere, but here on this topic/thread. This is the ONLY one I'm policing for me and whoever else just wants to enjoy themselves and this version of the Legion. You can even link to this thread (or quote it) if something's posted here that you need to complain or have a negative comment you want to share.

I'm drawn to the Conway love of Vixen and Firestorm in there. Super Pets should be interesting. As Polar Boy's history shows, picking the tone can prove to be problematic. I know my view of them changed when I actually got to read their stories.

Guys this is what I was trying to tell you about for the last few months! My friend Rich is the one writing the Polar Boy story. I've seen glimpses of it and it looks good! You won't believe who else is in it.
I saw a page on Twitter from the story earlier today - Travis' pencils really do look great, so I'm looking forward to seeing this!
