Nope, not Sensor.

Cos lost a finger with his Legion ring to Mekt but that was in an Elseworlds story, Legionnaires annual Camelot theme but still excluded by your conditions. Did anyone else lose a finger with their Legion ring in similar circumstances?

Mekt lost a finger when Tenzil bit it off as in the current Threeboot readthrough.

Mekt is one of the last two, so rounds out the villains!

But I really love that Elseworlds story. It's one of my favorites!

Nice one on Mekt, stile. I don't think I've read that one. I certainly don't recall it.

Nope - The last one was absolutely a limb lost in action. It was replaced, however.

Are you counting Vi's lost eye from the Imsk-Braal war in 5YL? Not exactly a limb but ...

I think I got it - didn't Threeboot Brainy cut Cham's arm off at one point in Shooter's run so he could study its cellular structure or something like that?

You know, I don't know - I haven't gotten to that point in the threeboot yet, but if you can point out the scene, we'll include it, but I was thinking about ANOTHER threeboot event that has not yet been mentioned.

Oh duh! Lyle lost an arm when he tried to fly using his flight ring during the Dominator/Robotic invasion. His life was saved by having an alien arm grafted on but just a couple of issues later with a new creative team that was being replaced with a regrown arm from his own DNA. Just commented recently about that in your readthrough thread.

It's entirely possible I was remembering it wrong, I can't find anything on the interwebs to back me up...but I think stile might have this one!

Doubt I would have thought of it (because it was undone so quickly) except for GL's recent reread of the Threeboot.

Actually I have one more for your list, again from the Threeboot. It is not totally clear from the art but combined with the words it certainly seems that Elysion lost his left arm when Atom Girl emerged enlarging from his body in issue #12.

Thinking about a new trivia question to post soon.

I thought about that one, Stile, but we never actually see it sever, and then we see him later kind of in a sling, so I assumed it was a non-sever.

Sorry for the delay, but the question I was thinking of had me diving down too deep a rabbit hole to find all the answers, so instead ...

We all know of the long romance between Brainy and Supergirl, for him starting from their first meeting (or even before if Levitz suggestions are to be believed), and there were various flirtations at times but there wasn't much actual intimacy when you get right down to it. In the context of what adventure was their first recorded kiss?

Was it that story in the 80s where Kara, Brainy and Sun Boy fought the Dark Circle?

It is pretty late in the piece, but I seem to remember Kara kissing Brainy before she went home and him being all flustered about it maybe?

I seem to remember Kara kissing Brainy on the cheek at the end of the Great Darkness Saga, is that it?

He was flustered but not because of a kiss.

There had been a certain amount of flirting between them during the adventure but no physical contact apart from when she was carrying him and Sun Boy through space, with Kara saying to Brainy how much she loved letting loose with her powers, she loved being back with the Legion, "and you know how I feel about you!"

However by the end Kara somewhat despondently felt that her latest trip had been a mess and that "maybe I don't fit into the Legion anymore" before flying off through the time barrier, leaving Brainy lost for words. Sadly this would be their last meeting before her death in Crisis.

That last issue did end with a page of Brainy and Kara having a chat. Kara made the comment that she was amazed at how relaxed Brainy seemed and he told her that he had finally gotten over his crush on her.

Her response was: "Really? What a shame. Here I was, starting to think how cute you were. See you 'round, pal." before flying off.

Brainy was left standing there, repeating the word cute, and finally saying to himself that he may be smart but he's GOT to improve his sense of timing.
