His inking has easily stood the test of time and was still really impressive. He was one of those talents who always boosted a book, regardless of the others involved. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues. "...not having to believe in a thing to be interested in it and not having to explain a thing to appreciate the wonder of it."

One thing that often gets overlooked is what a good eye for color he had, whether it was his painted covers or his inker/colorist phase when Steve Epting was penciling Avengers.
