I think Legion could use a few more horror stories.

I just watched Wednesday, and The Babysitter, Killer Queen. Both had that offbeat sense of fun and horror I dig. Not really jokey, but some really funny moments in the middle of the horror. Legion never really had those stories. We had a few that came close like the Mordru/Black Witch storyline, minus the humor. And the vampire storyline, again minus the humor (Sorry, I know some was supposed to be in there, but it was kinda flat to me.)

To me the horror works better with a few beats of humor to stand out, kinda like adding salt to something sweet to make the sweet pop.

Any thoughts on it? Have I missed a real Legion horror story?

Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!

There was the brief Mordru-and-Zombies arc in 5YL
And the Hallowe'en episode of the 2006 Legion TV cartoon. (Season 1, Episode 6, "Fear Factory")

The Tangleweb stories in the reboot had a bit of horror element to them, in the vein of Alien.

I suppose you could see the Heroes of Tartarus issue of 5YL as horror combined with humor.

Agree with EDE about Tangleweb.

Similarly, the Legion of the Damned storyline had a lot of horror elements (including the implication of Legionnaires being murderers or murderer-adjacent).

I've been thinking about 80s and 90s CGI and 3D animation, like stuff from Reboot, The Lawnmower Man, and books like Batman: Digital Justice. What if they did a horror story involving digital ghosts who are drawn in the blocky, uncanny valley CGI of the 90s?
