Raz has it. Dayton used his mento helmet to keep tabs on Swamp Thing, The Demon, the Spectre and others as they came into contact with a shadow of creation. Around the table Sargon was incinerated. Zatanna was to be next, but her father interceded, and was incinerated in her place. And Dayton went mad with the things he was forced to witness.

He's mute as bad guys, out to get Deathstroke, began to cut his throat before Deathstroke could kill them.

Deathstroke then lost his eye, because his wife shot him, for risking the lifecof her son. Only Slade's reflexes prevented it being a fatal shot.
