yes it was! his ring protected him from it the Spectre - Jay Garrick also ran to him after, but Spectre didn't intervene until the universe collapsed in on itself or something Zero Hour was the first crossover event I read... it does not hold up  I read COIE a bit after Zero Hour, and was blown away at the difference in quality...

This could probably be a better Titans trivia question but I have just been reading some old issues tonight and it's fresh in my mind - what was the HIVE's real motivation for turning Grant Wilson into the Ravager and siccing him on the New Teen Titans?
