So everyone know the Legion began their careers as teens, inspired by the legends of Superboy and Supergirl, teen heroes of the past!
Except... the earliest Superboy stories actually depict him younger than that. He actually turns 10 in one of his earliest stories!
So how would a Legion seres that sets them at a similar age work? Maybe targeted at middle grade readers as well?

Marvel tried something like that with Power Pack, right? Was it a success? I don't really know.

The first few years of Power Pack was awesome! And then we don't really talk about how it fizzled out at the end..... It could be wild if the younger Superboy hung out with the kids who were around during 5YL (ie: Garridan Ranzz and Ivy etc) and then as he gets older he gets recruited by Cos, Imra and Garth...I don't know if we're ready for that level of timey wimey nonsense though

An alternate pitch I'd thought of was "Ivy and Garridan's L'il Legion, but with classic Legionnaires!"
DC has done stuff like the Tiny Titans, but I think they were aimed a bit younger than what I'm imagining for this.

Various other Legion couples could have kids in this AU future as well, like Jo and Tinya, Mon and Shady, Thom and Nura, Val and Jeckie, Chuck and Lu, Gim and Yera, Jan and Shvaugn/Sean, Drake and Dawny (some science might be required there...), Blok and Mysa (some magic might be required here!), etc.

We've seen a few stories/panels about the Legionnaires when they were kids - young Shadow Lass exploring the caves, reboot Lyle Norg inventing the invisibility serum, Nura and Mysa as children; it's easy to imagine the Rannz kids running wild on the farm, Imra and Brainy studying. You'd need an excuse to get them all together as 10-year olds, though. Summer camp? Young achievers get-together? I like the idea of continuity of young Kal connecting with them as a 10-year old, then at different times in his life, maybe in a Special or 6-part series.
