Tizzles! That sounds just right. Really fit with the Empress giving a pet a cute name at the same time as being so uncaring and vicious. I have a memory of her pet saying "Empress mad!" when she was using the Eye to burn down someone and she saying some throw of reply to Tizzles. Good question and thanks for giving it to me.
One time when the Fatal Five are attacking Superboy in the past, Cham disguises himself as one of them but they see through his disguise. Who does he pretend to be and what gives him away?

Yep. At first he had been seen disintegrating stuff but then he touched something and it didn't and his thought bubble said that Brainy's disintegration disc must have run out of power. Pretty easy question to guess. Your turn.

nice! in terms of guessing, I was just thinking which of the Fatal Five would be easiest to impersonate... so fairly easy to narrow down  let's do an easy one, as am leaving on vacation tomorrow... Timber Wolf hired a detective to find Light Lass once. The detective was a descendant of...?

First chronologically would probably have been Superboy, encountering him as Superman in the 20th century. First in Legion publication would be Mon-El, I believe.
