Summary:
My character:
- debuted after COIE but before Zero Hour
- has been a member of a team
- does not identify as female
- has powers beyond those of a normal human being
- is sometimes heroic in nature, sometimes not, but in their own eyes, for sure.
- is not a non-human from Earth
- is not some kind of cyborg but could be considered some kind of chimera (a being that is made of multiple other beings) for part of their history
- is (mostly) not a human being from Earth (NOTE Clarification)
- does not transform into another being as part of their powers
- is not demonic in nature
- mostly did not originate on Earth, but considering the chimera aspect partly did
- is not Cyborg Superman

Primary origin of the Eradicator is of course a Kryptonian device designed to keep the Kryptonian race pure, so sophisticated that it was effectively sentient. Superman brought it back from his exile in space and it built a fortress for him in Antarctica before trying to mould him into the "perfect" Kryptonian and Earth into a new Krypton. Superman hurled it into the sun but it reformed in a humanoid form and returned to try again, this time dissipating in the fortress. When Superman was killed by Doomsday the fortress reformed its creator the Eradicator who took over Superman's role before sacrificing himself to save the "last son of Krypton" (after Superman was revived) from Cyborg Superman.
The inanimate humanoid Eradicator was being studied by Star Labs when a dying scientist bonded with it, gaining the Eradicator's powers and having a consciousness that merged the two, hence the chimera aspect and the part Earth aspect. In that form the Eradicator joined the Outsiders for a while.
After that the story gets murky, especially after Flashpoint, with versions turning up that didn't go into his backstory but just assumed antihero/Superman opponent role. There is a period there that I missed so could have been more interesting stories but I don't know.
