Going against orientation isn't enough to achieve "crack"; most slash is like that. I can't actually define it, but I've seen it used to refer to

- pairing characters who never interact in canon

- random hero/villain pairings

- pairing a character and something that isn't really even a character

Someone more experienced in the fan-fiction world (and not just LSH) should be able to give more examples.

In the interest of having plenty of material, and the fact that this was a tie (though I sorta consider Trip Kid's interest in Crack Pairings to be a vote), I think March should be:

BRAINIAC LEGACY AND/OR CRACK PAIRINGS month.

Why not?

sorry to be a latecomer to the discussion.

Crack pairings seem like such a wide open topic on it's own. Specifying Brainy crack pairings make more sense, whether on its own or with Legacy.

I figure if it is a double theme - Brainiac Legacy AND Crack Pairings, the mostest cleverest submissions will be the ones that combine all of the above.

We're in a new era of lots o' material per exhibit in the Museum, so I'm glad there was basically a tie for which theme to go with.

New idea.... what if we have new exhibits every two weeks?

I mean, this month has had some of the most enthusiastic response in a long time, but it seems to be over... right at the 2 week mark.

This could happen, of course, with the understanding that the two would share one thread.

I'm willing to maintain the schedule and voting.

Any strong opinions on the matter?

So, let's give it a try!

On March 1st, it'll be BRAINIAC LEGACY.

on March 15th, it'll be CRACK PAIRINGS.

Bragging rights to those who combine where appropriate.

vv's already gotten started on her thread with a cool sketch.

Splendid. More chances for me to warp innocent minds.

And after that, how bout Crossovers, like Brave & The Bold. Really far out superhero team-ups.

We did have Power Team Up, where a Legionnaire teams up with a non Legionnaire with similar powers and we've had LSH + LMB and we've had LSH + JLA + JSA, so many of those characters have been showcased.

It would be nice if we could collect a list of characters requested for their Brave & the Bold Legion Edition. Any and all volunteers welcome!

We already had a Toon Legion theme as well.

What did you have in mind when you said Slasher Films?

Well, like having the Legionnaires fight against slashers like Michael, Jason, Freddy...

Or doing dress-up as the villains...

Fighting zombies...

Legion/Army of Darkness (like, an idea I mentioned with someone on DA, what if Lightning Lad's robo arm came to life like in Evil Dead. Dealing with Robo Deadite Legionnaires)

And pin-ups of the girls as those "final girls" that always manage to survive at the end.

Hmmm... we did have a Hollywood/Movies theme. The Slasher Film ideas would fit within that theme.

ZOMBIES! We haven't done zombies yet! I'd LOVE to participate in that one! How 'bout Zombie Legion instead of the Legion fighting zombies?

Well, these themes are for April...

Some of the pictures from old threads don't appear for many reasons...
1.The person might have removed them.
2.The host site might have gone out of commission. 3.Other.

I was wondering why some of the stuff in the holomodels and the museum arts had disappeared. I'm only asking now when the bottom pic of the Legion of Legions thing wouldn't show. I'm only saying cuz I was wondering what some of the stuff was.

I have a Brainy fic. I don't use him much unless he's in the others. Hold on, I'll post it. Believe me, I want to. It just wouldn't be a Brainiac thread unless it involves insane robots and cyborg gophers.
