I'd favor Ch'p as a lead. Can we bring him back?

On second thought, maybe I'll revive Ch'p and make him the new Robin.

Eryk, the ROBIN writer just walked when I told him of your plans. I'll need you to take over that book too. And you're next page of MEL:TS is late!

Uh... I believe it's my co-writers turn to submit a page. And I'll get started on the new Robin series starring Ch'p right away!

Are you retconning out Ch'p's death or establishing Zombie Rodent Robin?
I think I have zombies on the brain today. Can I take all the dead heroes and create Zombie Friends?

Hmm... how was Ch'p killed originally? He was hit by a truck or something, right? Maybe that was actually a Ch'p robot or something. I'll figure it out.

GREEN LANTERN #1 G'Nough is G'Nough Once again, G'Nort weilds the emerald energies of the most powerful weapon in the Universe! 5 minutes later, his sector is emptied as every apparently inanimate object runs away in fear. So G'Nort heads off to look up his ol'pals on Earth. Can even the planet which is most over-represented with GLs already take the Return Of G'Nort? One Guy already has a problem with it...

Yes to Ace the Bat-Hound! Yes to Bat-Mite! But don't forget the fat Alfred, Aunt Harriet, Bat-Ape, Batman Jones, Batman Jr. (and Superman Jr.), and a brand new Batwoman - Kathy Kane's sister Kandi! Also, if Hornblower/Herald and Bumblebee are in the new JLA, then you should make it very edgy and indie rock. How about if Mal downloads his brain engrams into a robotic lifeform that becomes the team's adversary. AND, Mal could even get so close to the edge that he strikes his flirty, vivacious wife and gets put on trial and sent to jail! Down the road, Bumblebee could have an out-of-character one-night stand with Arsenal (just for poops & giggles)! I'd like to see Plastic Man, Elongated Man, Elastic Lad, and Elasti-Girl form their own superteam - maybe call them the All-Shapes Squadron? And bring back Vext!

Or perhaps the Pretzel Patrol? The Rubber Band?

I'd love it EDE! I'm not the best expert on Bat-continuity but I do love the quirky, weird characters from the 50s'/60s eras! Don't forget the Batmen from Many Nations like the Legionary and Musketeer! And, matlarrk, The Rubber Band is a great name!

Splendid job, SoM! Green Lantern is most assuredly yours now.
I'm thinking of using some Flash ties to make a new all-femme super-hero team! Iris Allen, Linda Park West, Lois Lane (with editorial permission to borrow her from Superman titles), and others! Those female reporters we all know and love in supporting roles join together to face the terrors of editors, plagiarism, and worrying about your significant super-other. Thanks to retcons and time travel aplenty, they can all be at the same point of time!
"Titillating Typewriters!" indeed.

Don't forget to add Hannah Wells and Vicki Vale to your All-Girl News Team, Future! Maybe call them News Shoes?

Future, I want to see a script ASAP! Your all-chick-reporter super-team idea is pre-appoved! And tell the editors of those other books that I'll brook no interference on their parts!

Hmmm. NewsGIRL Legion does have a ring to it, though I definitley want a hokey sub-title in there. Does Editorial have any ideas to add for titles or sub-titles?
Okay, the prototype first issue!
--------------------------- DC Comics's NewsGIRL Legion #1: Price: $0.50 (the cost of a newspaper, of course)!
A big fat retcon in the history of journalism from around the early 21st century leads Hannah Wells and Marella Tao to go against their ethics to steal a time bubble and personally investigate. They plop right into the middle of a great Allen/Park reunion, only to discover that someone is trying to assassinate Iris West and change reporting history! Teaming with Linda Park and Lois Lane, whose been left behind by Superman to stop yet another crisis, the five reporters join together to predict the story of a lifetime! But what happens when Marella and Hannah discover the assassin is...*gasp*...their time-tripping editor-in-chief! The girls combat him with tape recorders, purses, and pencils in hand. Ending the threat and leaving him to be picked up by Science Police means the EiC is not happy with Marella and Hannah...both now without jobs! Lois and the others realizing they don't need super-powers to save the world like their super-husbands, they join forces in the 21st century to keep an ever vigilant watch on the news media of Earth...and one day, beyond!
Next issue: Vicki Vale joins up, the ladies report from the Super Rebuplican National Convention...of Earth, and the gals set up their martian-tech HQ (hey, why not?) within the giant sphere above the Daily Planet!
---------------------------
Comments welcome. Other reporter ladies (Ms. Moon from Superboy, maybe) needed for recommendation. Variant covers are a must.

Hey, can I start up a second GL book for Kyle (and probably John) too, to go with the G'Nort 'n' Guy book?

Future you need to have a DC vs. Marvel xover - On the marvel side, you'd have Jessica Jones, Trish Tilby, and........ Hmmmmm, yet ANOTHER reason DC space-rawks over Marvel?
