I'll do my best : -Cyborg has decided to train the new heroes Wonder Girl, Superboy, Robin and Impulse after Young Justice and the Titans broke up. Starfire is helping him, and Beast Boy has joined them too. -Deathstroke shot Impulse's knee-caps, which gave Bart a reason to re-evaluate his life and stop acting like a moron. Since then he's taken on the moniker of Kid Flash and uses his photographic memory to learn as much as possible--to be useful in battle and become smarter (instead of his traditional goofy self). Someone could have explained this better I'm sure . I like this development. -Some heroes, like Wonder Woman, don't like the new kids training with the Titans, especially after what happened to Donna Troy. -Wonder Girl has been given a lasso by Ares, God of War, which has all kinds of offensive powers. This interesting subplot is still developing. -Deathstroke was possessed by Jericho, in a strange turn of events, as Jericho was still alive in him, despite his body being dead. Afterwards, Deathstroke was joined by his daughter Rose to hunt down Jericho. Rose recently has plucked out her own eye to be more like her father and has taken the code-name 'Ravager' after her dead eldest brother. -Jericho returned again, and somehow became downloaded into Cyborg, and then sent to Raven's dimension. I'll definately need someone else to explain this. -Raven has returned once again. The diety worshipped by the Cult of Blood has been Trigon all along, and they summoned her back. There is a new Brother Blood also. -Recently, Robin has quit being Robin in his own book, and Superboy is having trouble dealing with this. He continues to visit Gotham to get him to rejoin. -Wonder Girl and Superboy are dating. Kid Flash may have a thing for Wonder Girl. I hope this helps Teeds, but it doesn't really do the book any justice. It is a *very* good comic book IMO, with great art, good dialogue and likeable characters. The pacing and the level of fun is exactly as the Titans should be too. Maybe someone more eloquent can tell you more.

You did great Cobie. The only thing you left out was Gar currently has lost his powers only to have a school full of children develop them. And they are supposed to explain how Gar got his powers now that Byrne has f'd up the Doom Patrol.

Raven is one of my all-time fave Titans, and I'm happy to see her back (and I think she's pretty well written too right now). But the baldness must go !

Didn't he get a transfusion from a mongoose or something like that? Most of his history between then and his TT days hinged on the DP though, not to mention quite a few Wolfman/Perez stories.

TEEN TITANS is definitely one of my top faves right now. Can't WAIT for Johns to get around to the TITANS L.A. cast-- you KNOW it's coming, with the current team set in San Francisco!

The fact that John's embraces every aspect of continuity in all his books makes them so much more exciting when waiting to see where he goes with them.
I can't wait to see how Titans gets the same treatment that Flash and JSA have gotten!

Raven got a cool tattoo on her back and she is now physically younger too. More in line with Robin, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl. She is also rediscovering/learning to control her powers.
Jericho actually got sucked into Raven's soulself and then Cyborg actually downloaded him onto a dvd/storage device to defeat himself.
Kid Flash may have an thing for Wonder Girl but I also think he has a thing for Rose too.
I agree with Cobie about John's embracing continuity. That's why I can't wait to see the new Hawk and Dove and have no reservations about him doing GL:Rebirth.

Same here about Hawk and Dove and especially about GL!
I forgot about Kid Flash and Rose. He definately admitted that he liked her a lot (whether it's 'like-like' or just 'liking her' is left up to us). I'm sure when he sees what she did to her eye, it'll be a great scene.

How come Bart bore no relation @ the start of TTs to the guy who, at the end of YJ, had realised he didn't care whether he lived or died after what he went through in OWAW, and that that knowledge scared him? Plus the name "Kid Flash" would be tatamount to child abuse if you gave it to a real-life kid...

I think that since Bart lived throught the war without getting hurt in anyway made him to think what said. But then Bart is still growing up and what Deathstroke do to him wiht his injury really shook Bart up.
Plus, Bart isn't super smart, he is book smart and there is a difference there.

What issue number is the series up to? Are the back issues hard to find? Naturally, I'll check this out when I get to the comic shop again, but any more info would be great.

I know it's up to issue 12, maybe 13... I'll have to check.
And the first issues have already been given the TPB treatment.

Ok, so this thread didn't ask what we THINK about the new Titans book, just what happened. But for what it's worth, here's my two cents:
Sounds like I'm in the minority here, but TT is the one Johns book I just don't enjoy. I find myself buying it every month and I don't really know why. I guess I keep expecting the quality to match the work on Flash and the recent JSA.
The first few stories were long and drawn out and didn't really have a satisfying conclusion. I really want to see more of Starfire, Cyborg, and the old Raven, but I keep getting the Young Justice kids and Raven seems to have had her personality altered in order to fit with the younger group.
The art is good, not great. The characters look like real people and aren't cartoony (about the only qualification I have about art in comics) so I have no complaints about that.
I'm not sure why I'm not clicking with this series. I'll probably drop it as soon as the Legion is gone.

You know... few things bug me more than the notion that by de-aging adult characters to teens, that makes them suddenly fit in with teens. They should still have the minds/personalities of adults, even if their bodies are youthened.
De-aging characters to toddlers, however, is of course accompanied by a vast reduction in their mental powers.

Matthew. [/b]Well Dove is alive from the pages of the JSA and she left to go find the new Hawk somewhere. So H&D well be in the JSA or the Titans.

He's using Beast Boy, so I guess that answers your question. I don't anticipate Gnarrk, Golden Eagle, or Dove since they're all dead. Harlequin was retroactively removed, Mal and Karen are retired, and Roy, Dick, and Wally are on other teams. Hawk and Troia appear to be dead, but we'll see if that sticks. Also, Garth is fairly occupied with a wife and daughter (assuming they're back together). So...we've got that one definite.
